Let me start off by stating that I love my skinceuticals 20% vit.c. However, that hasn't stopped from eyeing Neova serum and eye gel. First, Dermadoctor states that copper stimulates collagen a bit better that vit c, and the fact that I don't need to worry about oxidation. Before I blow the 100$U.S., has anyone who's used both (there must be someone) tell me which they preferred and why. Using both is sonething I'd like to avoid-you have to space them out by 12 hrs and besides, dosen't vit.c stay on your skin for 72hrs? So, that 12-hr. rule dosen't make sense!! Any views would be appreciated.
Sorry, I'm menopausal and tend to angrily ramble on.... |

Hi
I have been using vit C for a few months now and also about two weeks ago introduced copper peptides into my routine. From the research I have done and it is loads I can assure you. It seems that the CP neutralises the vit C so I cannot see a problem with using both. Just that you do not get full 72 hour benefit from vit C. I also read on skinbio forum that they are not as sure now that CP does cancel Vit C. I think they are doing more research.
As for which I prefer I like the effect Vit C is having on my skin but I am absolutely loving results I am getting from CP.
I bet I haven't helped at all. Sorry |

I must get a sample-just to get it off my list at leaast. If EDS carried it, I would already have tried it. I will mention something that makes a diff.-Green Cream I'm using samples now and I really like it. It dosen't give you that "waxy" skin look that retin-a does (at least for me).I saw a difference after 2 uses of the .6% (every other day). That's another reason I wasn't sure about neova-I've just got too many products going. I was going to replace vit.c w/neova but I mainly hear "soothing" and "calming" from neova users, not "I look younger and smoother and glowy". This is probably due to the healing benefits of copper. Oh well, still confused. |
