Hi everyone
How many of you have mirrors that make you look GREAT and mirrors that shock you because you never realised you looked this bad because that OTHER mirror told you how great you looked. What is the answer? Only look in the mirrors that make you feel good? The ones where your skin looks good, your wrinkles are less pronouced, your body looks slimmer or do you continue to look in the mirrors which show the REAL you then you can buy more gadgets and creams and loose more weight and keep on coming back to see if you have improved?? |

Yup! Sometimes, I think it's down to the lighting with the facial skin, but there are also definitely "thin" mirrors and "fat" mirrors. In fact, I once stayed in a hotel room where there were 2 full length mirrors: one made me look ridiculously skinny, whilst the other made me look like a barrage balloon - it was just like a fairground hall of mirrors! |

I have experienced the same thing. In my case it's the lighting. I look much better in my bathroom mirror that is upstairs than the ones on the first floor. |

I know what you all mean! I look better in some mirrors than others. I think it has a lot to do with lighting. Another thing I find is I look different in a picture than what I see in a mirror. Makes you wonder which is the true reflection doesn't it? |

I got one
Big mirror all over the door of my wardrobe in bedroom. Perfect lightning.
Worst one is in my office, inside of the door of one cabinet. It is near the window and I hate it. |

I find that the mirrors where there is fluorescent lighting to be the worst. They seem to make my skin look very pale and show every line and imperfection. argh! |
