I saw a new derm doc today and she prescribed TriLuma for two dime and nickel size spots I have on my face. She said it was Melasma. I always thought Melasma covered a larger portion of your face. And I'm 54, these 2 spots have been on my face for about 5 yrs. Anyway, I was also getting Botox, so I was distracted and didn't ask a lot of important questions regarding the TriLuma. I know about the sunscreen, but I'm concerned about all the other side effects I've read about.
She also said she would do IPL after I've done the Tri-Luma. (a week I think). Some of my research scares me - others are reporting the IPL made their Melasma worse. Ugh !! |
