I'm revamping my nail polish collection and was in need of a few suggestions. Right now I the only color I have is my fave,
PINK BRONZE SHIMMER TO COPPER by NUBAR
What kind of colors and brands are people using? |

I don't use any nail polish with formaldehyde in it, which includes almost all nail polishes. Formaldehyde is the chemical that is used to embalm dead bodies. I have been using Peacekeeper brand from my neighborhood health food store.
Sorry if that's a downer. |

I'm an OPI fan also. I used to like China Glaze better but they reformulated and now most colors don't go on as nicely so I just went back to OPI.
I always pick cool colors and OPI has tons of them |

Agreed! I went on a major nail polish hunt last summer for polishes that are 3-Free (Toluene, Formaldehyde and DBP (dibutyl phthalate). I like Priti, Peacekeeper, and Zoya in particular. Here's my review of them if you'd like more info, plus there are other 3-free brands mentioned. HTH!

I'm in love with Butter London--too many great colours to choose from and they are also long-wearing. I use their quickdry topcoat which probably help with wearability, too. I also love Essie China Doll for a summer pedi colour. |

Like KBLang, my favourite nail varnish is Zoya. It seems to be more gentle, but is long-lasting and has a very wide range of gorgeous colours. |

Yes, I really like it. The Make Up Store has very nice and exciting range of colours, and to a descent price as well.
OPI and TMUS are the my top brands in nail polish by far.

Fingernails - Essie Ballet Slippers. Yes it is everywhere, but its perfectly natural pinky loveliness is appropriate for so many venues. Also love OPI's At Your Quebec and Call for times when I want something a little different (and you can't get much more different than "green.")
Toes - Zoya Freja
Next to-try brand - Butter London. Have heard wonderful things about them, and PinkLeader makes them sound so appealing. They're also form., DBP, and toluene free.
What a great thread for my first post! It is so hard to just jump in sometimes. Thanks Sunnylee! |

Mine is a beautiful red with tiny dust sparkles, and in the light its orangeish-pinkish. its called 500 out of control, by rimmel. Under Rimmel it also says PLAY FAST. |

Waltz by Essie. Perfect pale color for natural looking nails. Looks especially nice in the summer with tan hands. |
