C serums can be used at any age. They are powerful anti-oxidants and protect the skin from damage caused by the environment. They promote the growth of collagen and even skintone out. Some people have reported a normalising of oily skin (my 13 yo uses it to help normalise her skin, so no, you aren't too young!).
Use it under a hyaluronic acid gel like skinceutcals B5 or relaxaline, though you can get pure HA from diannayvonne site. top off with a moisturisor and sunscreen. I use it around my eyes, but that is too much for some, so you could use a separate eye creame/ gel.
Hope that helps, Liz |

They have vit C masks now? Seeing as topical vit C is something that should be used on a regular basis (rather than once or twice weekly) and seeing as it ideally should be used in the morning, I would go for a serum. Btw, what skin type do you have? I found that various vitamin C serums have different textures that might perhaps suit people better (well, that's my personal opinion anyway). |

I agree with Mabsy...Vitamin C is for long term use. Probably wouldn't see any effect at all from a one-time masking. I use the C from cellularskinrx.com. Soaks in quickly and I get good results. Others here like the Vivier that you can get on EDS and skinceuticals. What you want to look for is a serum that used l-ascorbic acid as the C (most effective form of C)in a nonwater solution (to avoid oxidation) and packaged in a dark bottle (to avoid exposure to light)....Water solutions tend to oxidize more quickly than silicone or glycol solutions. The cellularskinrx.com site has good information on C and it's benefits if you want to learn more about it. |

I think the Skinceuticals would be suitable for your skin anyway (in terms of effectiveness) but you would need to really moisturise well after applying it. It tends to make my face a bit tight before I manage to put any B5 gel or whatever else on it (I have normal to combo skin). On the other hand you could go for the Skinceuticals vit C+E serum and get even more protection from free radicals etc The C+E is better than the C in terms of dryness.
If you want just a pure vit C serum then I would actually suggest going for Vivier or the CellularSkinRx one, because they are a bit "oilier" than Cellex-C and Skinceuticals, and shouldn't dry you out as much. You might still need to use a hydrating B5 gel over it if your skin is very dry though. |

On the topic of Vitamin C masks, I found Murad's Vitamin C Infusion Home Facial Kit on sephora.com. Anyone tried it? |

CA Bontana makes a mask rich in Vitamin C. I used to get this mask in the Salon. This mask comes in a dry form and you mix it with a bit of water. It was placed over hyaluronic acid and a gauze covering. It turned into a rubbery substance. Having the gauze on your face made it easy to just pull off. This is a very nurishing mask. It was used a lot after Aloe peels. CA Bontana only used to sell to salons but now they sell them to the public except for their more potent products.
It's called: Sea Enzyme Fucus Coral +C Mask
CA Bontana.com
Three types of Seaweed, combined with Vitamin C in a unique blend help to oxygenate, firm and close the pores. It will help to boost skin cell activity, skin elasticity and cell membranes and acts as a cooling agent. |

guapagirl,
What is the URL for dianna yvonne? I wanted to check out that pure HA serum. I went towww.diannayvonne.com, but there is no such site. Couldn't find any site on Google or Yahoo either.
Thanks!
