I am wondering what the general consensus would be on EDS about matching the products in one's skin care and makeup routines. I've heard arguments both ways, but curious to know how many "real-life" (as opposed to the companies or reps selling the products) people actually do this? |

I am definatlly a mixer, I just never seem
to find I like all the products from one line! My opinion in most cases it is a marketing ploy to keep you buying more from a given line.

I'm a mixer also. One brand will never meet my needs or wants.
Its really just a marketing tactic that companies want you to believe its better to use their entire line. |

I'm a mixer too. It's too limiting to stay just with one line. |

Mixer - such a bad mixer I don't use 2 products from the same company. |

Thanks for the responses...I have a question, though: the primary argument I've read and heard from those in favor of using "lines" of product has been that this is due to each product in a line working in conjunction with another product in a line in terms of ph balance. I never really followed this reasoning (well, just twice for products that were either prescription only or professionally prescribed, but my daughter--an esthetician--also uses only one professional line for herself and her clients) and wonder if it is just for lines using chemicals. But, I've also heard and read it about lines that do not use chemicals. Any thoughts on that? I've always liked to bounce about, as well, but now I'm wondering if I should... |

I like to mix cause not all of the product from one brand can fit my requests. |

I also mix and match because one brand doesn't give me all I need. I use to go for one line only and never and good results so now I try to buy the best of the best from each line. Some have good BHA-AHA , some have better moisturisers other have mild cleanser.
I don't think you can find a perfect brand that excel in every single product. |
