has anyone tried the wellbox lipomassage machine? its a machine with roller massage and suction action that allegedly massages out cellulite on the body, smooths out skin complexion, and tones and firms the face. it has several attachments and whole contraption looks like a hi-tech canister style vacuum cleaner. it is priced just under $2000 CAD. if anyone has tried it please let me know. thanks. |

There have been several cheaper hand-held gadgets with a massage/suction motion tried out/reviewed here on the forum.
I bought one from Amazon.com that seemed promising, had it not broken after the first week. I returned it and the seller "claimed" she never got it back, so did not get a refund nor a new one. The seller said she had several that been returned that the suction went out as well as she would no longer sell them.
Maybe a better/more expensive model might have worked. The suction did cause bruising which I guess means it was breaking up something! |

you didn't open it? wow! you should. i mean, if anything it'll give you a great massage and get the blood circulating... which helps the body to repair. holt renfrew in toronto stopped selling it. i had to go online to wellbox canada, based in quebec, and the whole website is in french. i emailed the rep but haven't heard anything back. i'm new to EDS and made my first purchase. i'm really impressed by their service so far. if EDS sold it i wouldn't hesitate to buy. however with some bad bad experiences buying online, i'm going to hold out on wellbox till a reputable online store sells to toronto.
please let everyone know it goes with the wellbox. i'm excited for you!!! |

I lucked out and purchased this over a year ago for only $800.00 Canadian at Vancouvers Holt Renfrew. (they were no longer carrying them, the sales associate tracked one down!!). I do like it, I try to use it twice a week. (I do the face mode for about 15minutes, then work on the butt for about 10mins, lol!). ![Very Happy](images/smiles/biggrin.gif) |

lipglossgal: $800? its just under $2000 now. over a year ago? i just found it a few weeks ago and though i found the newest thing. i though i was conquering new land! so how does it feel? like a massage? and did you notice any lifting in the face or a difference in skin texture? the wellbox is suppose to have roller massage and suction... is it able to do just one function at a time. for example, just massage with rollers and leave out the suction function? please let me know when you have time. i contacted wellbox canada through their website and facebook but they don't respond. and having had a very bad experiece this week with tua viso canada, in which they ripped me off on shipping $$ and miraculously the extra 12 sponges that i paid for were missing, i'm hesitant to pursue that route. tua viso acted like wellbox too. i took me forever for someone to contact me. i felt like a stalker. even after i purchased $800 worth of gadgets, tua viso canada was problems after problems.
pal: a brand new wellbox in the closet. i'm so jealous! perhaps my miele vacuum cleaner will give the same feel and effects? heehhe my weakness is beauty gadgets, especially those that massage and stimulate the skin and muscles. i'm sure it should at least give you a great massage. go pal go!! *cheering you on* when you get a chance let me know what it does for excess skin. you know, they're now using electric massage to help lose weight. i wonder if the wellbox will do this? |

I bought one and resold it after a few months. For the money too time consuming and not enough discerable results in my opinion. |

Hey katebargold this is what I think has put me off even opening it, even though it looked great on the tv presentation.
Did you see any visible improvement in what you were using it for? |

IIina, I lucked out and the SA tracked me one down , I believe they were phasing them out so I got it for a great deal at Holt's
. It is a nice machine, since I got it for a good price, I think it is worth it. (but for $2000.00, eh, not so much! ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

I have had the Wellbox for 1 1/2 years. WHEN, I used it, it was great. I only used it on my thighs--I have a little cellulite above my knees. It really helped, but I am afraid, that I don't stick with gadgets--and I have a closet full of them. |

I am considering too, but quite an investment if does not deliver the result.
The price in China is approx. USD2600 to buy from official distributor. Or USD2000 from someone like EBAY.
It is a long term investment and it's better to buy from distributor. |

You should contact the HQ in France/Italy, they wrote back immediately and refer the distributor in China to contact me on the same day.
The official retail price is like USD5400 here, and they are offering a discounted promotional rate at USD2470, still very expensive!
Anyway, HQ said if I buy from other country, I can still send to China distributor for repair etc but they will charge USD62 labor cost + charge for the parts.
Most website in the US is selling at USD1500, shipping is USD175. still a big difference comparing to buy from the official distributor. |

Spoke to the distributor, I think I will buy directly from the official distributor, 1) quality guarantee 2)they can send someone to teach me how to use it, I love to read but I hate reading manuel or user guide so it is better to have someone to teach me how to use it. |

thanks for the link. i didn't think of contacting the official site. good idea! i just contacted them now for a canadian distributor. i hope something happens. the only place i know beside DH in canada, is website eskinstore (Canadian), it is 2100 CAD, and there is no return once the box is opened, and warranty is directly through the company. that sounded funny to me and made me nervous about the machine.
i saw this machine on a few video demos. i like it because it is adaptable and it looks like it will give a good massage. i also like it cuz it has no electrical stimulation (galvanic/microcurrent/ems/tens). i believe too much of electrical stimulation is not good. sometimes it is good to have a more natural massage-stimulation.
i've been looking at the viora infusion but i don't know much about it. there is not much info on the net. initially i was attracted to it because of it one massage head... looks like here are several metal balls that rotate. now that i look at it more closely, those metal balls look like they're some sort of electrical stimulation. i'm not sure. i'm going to keep researching it. |
