Others hair products have come and gone, but this one is my hair's one true love - truly a holy grail product! I have super-short, wavy hair (thick Halle Berry), and I use a pea-sized amount of this creme after towel drying my hair -- a little goes a long way. I work it through then blow dry my hair as usual. This product acts as a heat protector, prevents frizz, affords just a tiny amount of "hold" and it makes your hair so shiny that it is almost mirror-like! Also, like most Aveda products, the scent is to-die-for, a difficult to accurately describe fresh, clean, musky scent. This creme can be mixed with other hair styling products (i.e.: gels, waxes, pomades, etc.) to make custom products. When hair is dry, you can apply a bit more to ends of hair for "piecey" styles. This product will always have a place of honor on my bathroom counter! I have friends with long, curly hair and they use this before diffuse-drying to 'define' their curls and prevent frizz and other friends smooth the creme on the ends of their hair after bouts with the hair straightening irons -- all of them love and recommend the product as much as I do.

I'm using their Finishing Solution and it's wonderful  I have very straight, fine hair which tends to 'fly away'. With a little dab of Finishing Solution applied while wet, my hair has a sleek, shiny, thicker look to it.
