Full name: "Illustrated Guide to Percutaneous Collagen Induction: Basics, Indications, Uses (Aesthetic Methods for Skin Rejuvenation)"
http://www.amazon.com/dp/1850972532/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2N4TK12OZYNJ2&coliid=I193NGJU0TKLAT
Botom line: IMO, the book was not worth the money and here is why:
1. It contains tons of oversized coloured pictures which were mostly irrelevant for me. For example, photographs of all wound healing phases, large photographs of how to conduct anesthesia, pictures of operating rooms, instruments to assess the skin, tons of pictures of different scars.
2. Small amount of valuable information for me.
3. Treatment protocols were needlessly repetitive.
4. Big focus on treatment of scars.
5. Information on objective skin analysis using instruments was irrelevant to me (a big chapter on that)
6. I have found no information on how to combine microneedling with other cosmetic procedures.
7. Big emphasis on using Environ Skincare without any specifics.
8. A significant amount of very unpleasant pictures.
9. Specific skincare protocols were not outlined at all. |

I paid $120. Still very expensive for what it offers.
Absolutely no info on topicals. |

I hope that the author sees this thread and releases a new edition with changes. |

Also, most of the instructions in the book are not complete. For example, "Remove EMLA cream." With what?! |

I dislike doctors who are big promoters of their own branded products for commercial gains.
If they devote more time on what they are trained to do as doctors instead of self promotion (and writing biased unseless books), more lives will be saved or quality of which will improve. |

Its such a shame, and disappointing. However there are some good books out there though that are not as expensive! |

I think it's too much for a book. Always you can find it online to read some tips or insights. |

oh wow. its pretty expensive.
not sure if the price tag is worth it.
google is great for finding many articles that are useful, but also must have the energy to filter out nonsense advice. |
