I've become so fond of this cleanser, I just had to write my own review of it.

Because of this product, I actually look forward to washing my face at night. (In fact, sometimes I don't even wait til night. Smile)

I don't know what it is about this stuff, I mean it's just a cleanser, but it leaves my skin glowing. It actually feels good too, like my face is breathing a sigh of relief and saying "thank you, thank you, for getting all that suffocating makeup off me." (Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but I've tried quite a few cleansers in the last few months, and none of them even come close to making me feel this way.)

The fragrance is pleasantly light and natural. At first I thought it was only so-so, but now it's grown on me and I love it. It only foams up sometimes, and I think the trick is to start with oil-free hands and add plenty of water. For removing stubborn waterproof mascara, this is the best I've found. And it never stings my eyes. It leaves my skin feeling clean, neither moisturized nor dry and tight.

The only drawback is the packaging. It's a tube that stands on it's cap, so it's difficult to squirt some in your palm then replace the cap immediately. (If you don't, it drips onto the counter.)

Before I call this my Holy Grail cleanser, I'll have to try Decleor's Cleansing Milk, just to be fair. But it's definitely bye-bye Orlane! (But only in the cleansing department. Wink )

Alohagirl,

Wow! It's this " " far away from making "HG Cleanser" status!? Surprised I'm gonna have to try and get a sample of this Smile

I've been trying out some new cleansers too lately but so far nothing has really grabbed me really (apart from the three 'favourites' I have at the moment of course Smile). I mean they were all very good cleansers but I wasn't as thrilled with them as I was when I first found YonKa Gel Nettoyant, Decleor Cleansing Oil or the Dermalogica Dermal Clay Cleanser (all of which I bought based on reviews on EDS - thanks ladies! Wink).

I'll definitely give this one a go though. Thanks! Smile

Mabsy.

I sure hope you're not disappointed, Mabsy. After all, I have finicky skin, and Thoughtcrime stated in her review that she didn't much care for it.

To each his own, I guess. (But thankfully we have EDS's generosity with samples!) Wink

My addition to this review:

I can't quite make up my mind about this one. I've got a 25 ml travel size, and for travelling it will be a good cleanser, but a full size for every day use...nah.

Sometimes it lathers really well, other times you need to use double the amount for it to work. I think it has to do with how warm my hands are (suffer from cold hands) and that they aren't too wet. You need water to lather it up, but not much.

It cleans well, and that being said I think it is a really good cleanser. But apart from it being a bit fickle when it comes to lathering I find the scent to be a tadd too strong and I don't like the taste of it. This cleanser has a strange tendency to get into my mouth, like no other cleanser ever has before or any other is at the moment - it's every time! and the taste lingers a bit... and I don't like it.

I wasn't thrilled with this Decleor offering -- I posted a review about it last year: http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=7574&highlight=decleor+foaming+cleanser Personally, I'm deliriously in love with the Jurlique Foaming Cleanser -- if you've got oily skin, you seriously need to try it that one!

I love Decleor and have had a few samples of the foaming cleanser. It has a nice light scent that I like especially for morning but I do agree with the lathering problems. I usually like a little more lather but my face is clean and not tight after using this.

Oops, forgot to mention that I too have sensitive skin and have had many years of hit and miss when it comes to skin care. I discovered Decleor about 4 years ago and have been hooked since.

i just received this from my package yesterday and i highly recommend it. i have been using Shiseido's brightening cleansing cream for the last few months and was quite pleased with it. but Decleor swept me off the floor with their stuff, oh my!!!

i used it after cleansing my face with Decleor's cleansing oil first, which washes off completely with water without any residual.

then i apply the cleansing foam. as previously mentioned it doesn't foam very well. yet i'm only interested in the result it'd made. not just a throughly cleaned face, but i felt my face was soft with a radiant glow, ready for the day Smile Smile

i HIGHLY recommend these two products!

this cleanser smells great. although even though it says its a foaming cleanser you hardly get any foaming action. more like a milk cleansing action lol

my skin dint feel too dry nor to tight.....although i think it did not fully cleanse the skin well either.
