I've been trying to tackle my heavy lids/low brows, without much success. I see these women in magazines and you can visibly see their eyebrows are significantly higher than their brow bones, whereas my eyebrow is at or possibly slightly below my brow bone, which compounds my heavy/hooded eyelid appearance and makes me look tired all the time. I'm sick of people asking me if I'm sleepy/tired/sick all the time. Grr.
Anyways, I've been doing Facercise for the past month and I just don't really FEEL it in that area. There are other exercises of hers that I feel right away (the nose shortener and the cheek builder) but I just really don't feel like the eye exercises are working the correct way ON ME (mainly what I feel is the nasty 11 wrinkle line muscle getting bigger and bigger and bigger, but definitely nothing "lifting" out in the temple region which is where I want it to be working).
I've also been doing sort of a grab-bag approach to facial exercises and have incorporated some I found on the web (I do this one where you make a fish face and smile at the same time, and I can TOTALLY feel that building up my cheeks) but I just haven't found that a-ha awesome eye exercise yet. Does anyone have a suggestion for the BEST eye/brow lifter exercise?
As a side note, I'm waiting for my dermawand to be delivered as I've heard that's fairly successful in that area.
Also, as a caveat: I do understand that I haven't been exercising for that long and I'm not saying I'm going to give up on it; I just wanted to know which exercises people thought were the best for that specific area. |
