RevitaLash: Eyelash Growth Serum
http://www.essentialdayspa.com/revitalash-p_6445.htm

after many weeks of reading on the forum, thread upon thread of eyelash serums, i settled upon revitalash. the revitalash comes in a 4ml tube with an ultra thin brush liner. it looks exactly like am eyeliner tube. the thin brush applicator is perfect to control the product and draw an ultra thin line along the lash line.

i've been using it for 2 months along my lash line and along my eyebrows. the product is a clear liquid, looking like water. after i cleanse my face in the morning and evening, i leave my brows and lashes to dry completely. this takes approximately 10 minutes. after the areas of concern are totally dry, i apply a thin line of product along my lash line. i then continue to apply to my brows. i fill in all sparse or mini bald spots from my brow area. a couple of gentle strokes is sufficient. the revitalash product looks like water, so i use the 20X magnifying mirror when applying the serum. i only use a sparse amount in all areas.

only after 1 month i noticed my brows had become full with new hair. yes, new hair. the small bald spots in my brows, i have had since a child. giving my brows an uneven and sparse look. being an uncoordinated and clumsy adult i never dared to use brow powder or liners on my brows... fearing a uneven and inproper application. all too complicated for me. so i went around with freaky eyebrows and chalking it up as the 'natural' look.

now i have full brows at 2 month. they are full and gorgeous... and ample enough that i can properly groom them, and define them (with tweezers and razor shapers). i'm so happy i found revitalash. my full brows give my face symmetry. yay! since my full brows, i have now reduced brow application to every other day.

after the 2 month mark, i have reduced application to lashes to once in the evening. i haven't noticed any growth in my eyelashes. i will continue to use revitalash... and expect to see some growth in the near future. thus far, i have NOT experienced any side effects.

to your lashes!
Wink

Thanks for the review.

How long do you think the tube will last?

hi 3,
i've been using for 2 months and the products is a liquid... also from other reviews, i believe it should last 4-6 months.
if you try it good luck! Very Happy note: if you experience any side effects it says to discontinue use. i haven't experienced anything. actually two weeks ago, i thought my lids were getting thinner (disipating fat deposit) but i think i was dehydated for several days. Embarassed )
have fun!

Ilina - thanks, I'm going to try it out. I used Lilash before, and it should be interesting to see how they compare.

the revitalash that is available now is the new formulation. i went bonkers trying to decide which brand to use... so i got a few. its definitely working on my brows, i'm just waiting for my lashes to kick in. with my lashes, anything will help! Very Happy

The Revitalash really irritated my eyes. Since I have some thin areas on my eyebrows I'll use what's left there. At least it won't be a total costly waste.

Thanks for reporting Ilina that it works on the eyebrows. Smile

i'm almost positive it will for you too.
remember to apply on freshly washed and dry brows. you don't moisturize there, right? so no need to put any cream/moisturizer on top.

yay! when i get bored sometime, i'm gonna try it between my brows and see if i can grow a fancy wavy unibrow! Laughing

Yes, I used the original Lilash. Got it on eBay. It worked great, I could see individual lashes growing out almost twice as long as the others. But I heard some people have irritation from the new formula, so I'm looking for alternatives.

Ilina, why did you have to wait for your brows and lashes to dry completely before applying Revitalash?

hi Natalyn,
i have to wait till my brows and lashes dry after a shower or after my cleansing routine. it seemed like the natural thing to do. after a shower or cleaning my face, the lashes and brows are still dewy. i didn't want revitalash to 'run' into other areas of my skin. from what i understand it should be applied sparingly to the areas of concern.

why what do you do?

I didn't wait. Embarassed I cleansed and dried with a wash cloth, and started applying.

that's ok... as long as you dried with a towel. i'm sure its fine. i think i'm just overly paranoid about certain products that i use. read someone grew an eyelash on their cheek! Shock and watched a video of 2 sisters using an eyelash serum, and one had to end up shaving her cheeks.Shock

in both cases, it was not revitalash. just be careful that it doesn't run... or doesn't mix with your facial moisturizer. the members on EDS all wait till the lash serum is dry before applying face serums/cream.

i'm using revitalash on my lash and brows. and now only applying 2-3 per week, only in the evening before bed. its done wonders for the brows but still waiting for the lashes. from reading the threads, it will take 3 months... i just have to be patient.Doubt

what are you using and how long?

Ilina - I don't think you're being paranoid, just rightfully cautious. When I was using Lilash, I wasn't that dilligent about applying it precisely, and got a couple fine hairs growing from the inner corner of my eye! Not a big deal, but it shows it really does make hair grow. . .

i know!
i'm really hoping they'll come out with something for scalp growth. i found some videos and new article pertaining to this and posted it on the threads...but no one else commented.

i don't have major thinning but would love something to bring my hair fullness back to my teen years.

if you know of anything let me know.
thanks! Wink
