I started paying attention to my skin about a year ago. I think I've always had okay skin, not too great but not bad either.
Now that I'm addicted to skincare, anytime I'm around people I always look at their skin. Its become a problem for me especially when I'm riding in the train (I live in NYC), I look at the babies longingly - wishing I had their skin - and when the parent catch my eye more than once on their kids they look at me funny.
Has this happened to anyone here? Is it a phase I'll go through? Will I stop longing after children's luscious skin? |

you're kill'n me!
yeah, i kinda do that too. little children are something wonderful. everything about them amazes me. even their breath smells nice. too cute! and everytime i see a baby's toes, i almost laugh out loud... they look like itty bitty buttons!
i'm sure you'll get over it. sometimes we all go through our own little obsessions, such as skincare or perfect skin. then something else comes it our life, and then it (our life) changes again.
i'm a bit obsessive about blackheads and pimples. at home i'm always reaching for the extractor... looking in the magnifying mirror... and searching , searching for those little suckers. sometimes when i'm talking to pple that are close to me (like mom or dad, or bro), i'm mesmerized by their blackheads... don't even pay attention to what they're saying cuz their blackheads keep staring at me! |

I always notice women's bare arms because I work out. When I see great arms I know the effort it took to get that way. |
