Laneige Eye Color Pencil Dual Shadow-made in Germany
No 5 Blue Navy
this is a dual ended eye shadow pencil. not the thin types but the cubbier/thicker type. this was gifted to me by a friend, and came all the way from korea. made in germany but was told the this line is very popular in asian due to the shades of colour, and wearability.
the blue navy is darker shade of violet, with a very fine shimmer and a touch of iridescence. this shade is perfect for shading the eye area. the texture is not too creamy and not too powdery. for a thicker pencil eyeshadow this applies smooth and concise. there is no stuttering or gathering or lumpy colour pigmentation as it is going on. fine smooth colour in one sweep. the end tip/texture of the pencil is soft, so there is no gauging the eyelid to get better control or more product on the eyes. soft and sweeping!
once in the morning when i apply a little shadow and contour with this eye shadow pencil, it stays on all day. it does not smudge, flake off, or sprinkle colour to the lower lids. it stays put and intact. this is a great eye shadow for those that like easy make up and don't like to fiddle around mid-day with their make up!
at the other end of the eye shadow pencil comes with its counterpart highlighter... in this case, a silver light blue. this highlighter is great for highlighting the eyes. it makes the eyes brighter, more awake, and when used the correct way makes the eyes younger and softer looking.
i take the silver highlighter end and dab at the inner corners of my eyes. it gives my eyes an added sparkle. then i take it and sweep along the lower lash... this compliment the white of the eyes, and reflect more light to the iris... making the eyes sparkle with light and enhancing the natural colour of the eyes.
the laneige dual is easy! it comes with the contour and highliter in one. no need to think! the pigmentation of this product is superb and texture is too easy too use. its quick, adding dimensions to the eyes with a few strokes and dabs. a bonus is that it stay put all day!
5 out of 5!
this is my new magic stick! ![Very Happy](images/smiles/biggrin.gif) |

hi ssweets!
i don't wear much make up... and i don't know why my bestest friend keeps buying me make up... maybe its a hint!
but i thought i should use it and try to look my best.
i was surprised... i thought in the morning... o boy, i'll have to adjust this later on... end up looking like football player by afternoon. but this actually stay put all day.
the quality is really nice... no fiddle or adjusting... it sweeps on. and i really love the highlighter... dab dab and a little stroke... it makes the eyes pop and gives a softer look to them at the same time.
i looked at you tube videos... make up tutorials to learn how to do this properly. i'm sure i'm not doing it 100% correct... but even my clumsy skills, the highlighting effect is very nice. an added bonus to the eyes. |

Laneige is a Korean brand and its very big in Asia.
I use their hydrating mask and its really amazing! The rest of their skincare range also has a lot of good reviews but I'm using so many brands now, I don't have the urge to change. |

hi jess,
my dual shadow says it is made in germany, inscripted into the product. there is a peel sticker that has some korean on it and the website says amorepacific. when my gfriend gave it to me, she said it is from germany.
doesn't make sense.
nonetheless, it a great long lasting eyeshadow and hightlighter. ![Very Happy](images/smiles/biggrin.gif) |
