I've seen copper peptides being offered by neutrogena, and considering my light wallet recently Ive thought maybe giving them a whirl.
Does anyone have any knowledge on whether these are as good or a waste of money? |

If you are worried about dosh, then dianayvonne does the full strenght ones for probably less than neutrogena. I'd check it out first as the skin bio ones at DY are the product of the guy who started it all

Hello!
I am a newbie here and must say I am completely addicted to this forum.
As far as Neutrogena goes, I had the same question and wondered about the amount of copper peptides and AHA's in their products. I had purchased the eye cream and it did nothing for me. I have read that there has to be a certain amount of CP in it to be effective. So I emailed the company asking what percentage of CP is in there and this is what they wrote back, quote..."We are very sorry, but our company policy prohibits disclosing this type of information. Most of our research, marketing and sales information is proprietary, as is information regarding our ingredient percentages and formulations of individual products."
My guess is if they aren't willing to tell us how much of the stuff is in it, there probably isn't very much.
So, I hope that helps you make a decision. For myself, if they won't tell me what is in it, or how much is in it, I won't be buying it. I think you are better off paying the extra and buying the real stuff from skinbio or DY. You can also get sample sizes on ebay reasonably cheap to see if your skin likes it or not first. |

Last winter I used the Neutrogena Copper line and it did not do a thing for my skin. If you really want to try it you can get it for about half what you would pay in a drug store on Ebay. |

Thanks soooo much for your replies. I especially appreciate Diane's response from neutrogena...If they were truly concerned about the consumers of their products, they'd be more than willing to help without divulging any "secrets". I think it's awful that they gave such a canned response. I will be staying away, and probably saving more money in the long run.
Good luck to us all for finding that miracle in a bottle |
