I broke down and bought a sample of this Athena 7-Minute Lift because I found some review on the internet that it really worked.
http://www.7minutelift.com/?gclid=CJmMy9jIoooCFRJ_Ywodh1jGuA
I was so excited when I got the sample, and I went to work following the instructions on how to apply.
I had to keep my face perfectly straight for 7 minutes after I applied this cream on my face. But wait a minute! Did I say cream? It was more like a cement putty. It was so thick and coarse, and hard to spread over. It felt really dry, too.
I had to seclude myself in the bathroom during the 7 minutes because I did not want to talk to someone who might make me laugh. Once my son came in to the bathroom, and thought I was mad at him since my face was so straight and I was not talking. After I was done with the 7 minutes, I explained to him (he's only 6) that there was nothing wrong, but mommy was trying out a new beauty cream which wouldn't allow her to talk, smile or laugh for 7 minutes. (A week later when my face was straight for no reasons, my son asked if I was using that beauty cream again. LOL)
After 7 minutes passed, NOTHING happened. My face looked the same. No lifting, nothing! I emailed customer service, and she thought I had a bad sample, so she sent me another one. She said the texture was supposed to be more creamy.
The new sample was the same, and this time when I emailed her, I got no response back.
So I would say save your $10. But if you don't mind throwing away $10, you can try it for yourself and see if it's worth it for you. |

good review. Thanks for sharing,
Sorry it didn't work for you but excellent for me because it is one product I will not be lusting after. Which believe me is rare at this stage in my wrinkledom. |

Actually I did not buy mine from this particular link. I just googled Athena 7-minute lift to get a link so you all could read the ingredients and whatever else they tried to claim. I think I might have gone to Athena itself. It was back in July when my mom was visiting. I was so excited and telling my mom that if it worked, I would order some for her. Needless to say I did not order some for her. LOL Maybe they only charged $10 back then for their sample? |

I emailed them about the price and their reply was that too many people ordered the sample and kept ordering it over and over so they now charge more but you get $15.00 of when you order the full size. |

Hi, I had the same horrible experience and you are so right to describe the product as putty the size of dime. It was so difficult to put on and to be honest once I saw the product I did not have much hope. They still keep sending me e-mails to purchase the horrible cream. What a rippoff I wish I had given the $10.00 to a charity! It would of been more useful! |

Yeah! A product we don't have to lemming after. And thanks for the laughs. The title of this thread and Loopy's post cracked me up. Sorry for those of you who wasted your money.

I forgot I wrote this review, but someone was asking about this product in the other forum, and Frodo posted a link back to this. So when I clicked I saw it was me reviewing the stuff. I got a good laugh from reading it again thinking back to when I had to keep my face perfectly straight for 7 minutes after pasting that cement on it. Hahaha At least now I can laugh freely.
Glad I was able to save y'all $10! Ooops, it went up to $15 now, so you all saved even more without realizing it. |

bkkgirl; Hey I recall seeing a pic of you sometime ago and I am just wondering why you think you need Athena lift, you look like a kid, you look very young in your 20's,you dont have any wrinkles to get rid of and you are asians, we tend to look younger than most other races. |

Bless your heart, Lucyluc. I wanted to lift my forehead area because I squinted a lot when I went out since I always forgot to wear sunglasses. So my forehead was suffering. Also the Thermage was the culprit to make my eye areas lose some firmness such that when I smiled a big one or laughed, you could see crow's feet.
When I read about the 7-minute lift, I couldn't wait to try it thinking it would be my solution without having to resort to a brow lift like my mom was suggesting. Too bad it didn't work.
However, right now, I've been doing something right, not sure what exactly, but the two problems have been getting better, especially in the eye areas. |

I am guessing that the sample's you all were trying did not come with instructions ??? I bought the jar and did not try samples first . It came with a instruction dvd and small book explaining how to apply it . It also came with a applicator brush . Yes , the texture is thick in the pottle , but you do not apply it straight to the face . You dip the brush in water , remove excess water , dip the end of brush in the cream , only using the tiny amount about the size of a small pearl - then you work it into the brush on your hand - then apply it to your face . It glides on very thinly and smoothly. It feels like a slight dampness. It says only to apply to your target areas , eg: crows feet , frown lines , smile lines etc - Not the whole face. I tried it for the first time today , after watching the dvd and reading instructions. I was amazed and very impressed. |

That tiny amount is all you need for the entire face. Yes you are asked to stay expressionless for 7 minutes while the oils are absorbed, but it was not an issue for me. It made a huge difference to my face , very quickly . I took it to my mother to try as i had seen more impressive results on women over 50 ( im 27 ) and the result really was amazing. I will definately continue using this product , and telling other people about it. This is probably the first product i have bought that actually truly does what it claims.
SO impressed by it that i just took the time to sign up in here , just to be able to leave my review after seeing the other comments, and explain how to apply it properly... by writing this small novel |
