Good Morning All!
I have been reading a little about Vitamin C- Ester, and of course came right here to see what everyone is saying! I think I am going to give it a try, but have a question about the powder. I can buy Vitamin C- Ester powder from the same place I buy my vitamins. Is there any difference in buying them as a vitamin supplement versus from a cosmeceutical seller? I would think they are the same thing, but since I am new to the DIY area, I thought I would let wiser heads prevail. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

It's really advisable to purchase ingredients for DIY from a cosmeceutical seller - then you know that you're absolutely using the best ingredient possible and not something that may have a filler in it. Once you start making your own serums, you'll probably need more than one ingredient anyway - might as well just buy them all from a reputable seller. |

how can you tell if a product has filler in it? will it indicate on the package? I ask because I can buy the product for a lot less through my vitamin resource. at least twice as much for 1/3 the price. |

I have actually called one company Solaray about a Vitamin E gel cap and they checked the particular one I have and they told me the gelatin and glycerin were only part of the cap itself and the contents were Vitamin E only.

Yes, most companies are pretty good about providing info if you contact them. I've emailed Natural Factors and Jamieson about their products before, and they were very helpful. |

I find if like the one I mentioned above they provide an 800 number on the bottle specifically for consumer inquiry then they have a customer satisfaction is key attitude and are usually very helpful!
