Hi, it's my first post in here.
I was wondering if you could help me. I bought following
1 Argireline & Matrixyl 3000
1 Skin Tightener ST
1 Hyaluronic Acid
1 Ascorbyl Palmitate
1 Multi-Lamellar Cream from the Personal Formulator. And I was wondering if I could mix all those components together. Or should I make a c serum separately? If so can I make c serum with Hyaluronic Acid or with Glycerin.
You all seem to be so experienced with DIY skin care.
Thanks a lot for you help,

Hi,
You may want to make a simple C serum with glycerin. I think it may be helpful to read some recipes before diving in and finding that some things just don't work together due to ph, disovalability issues ect.
Here is the recipe index link
http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=11902
also one very good source for information and free recipes (over 100) is
http://www.makingcosmetics.com
near the bottom of the recipe index here at EDS are many suppliers listed that also have information about formulating.

Thank you very much for your reply.
I know what you mean not to invent the formulas on your own. Yesterday I mixed ascorbyl palmitate with argan oil, and at the end the smell was very bad, like very strong metallic smell. i wonder what went wrong ![Shock](images/smiles/shock.gif) |

It may need to be dissolved in alcohol first?
Solubility in water Very slightly soluble in water; freely soluble in ethanol |
