Hey all. I have read so many wonderful eye cream topics and now I am confused on which way to turn. I have been using a Cle de Peau eye cream sample for undereye circles lately. Apparantly they have two different creams for different things. My dark undereye circles do seem to have improved and possibly the lines under my eyes are better even though I don't think this one is especially for lines. I use my La Mer eye cream at night because it is more hydrating, but I kind of like the Cle de Peau for day. And I have a 25 dollar gift card I could use to offset the price of the Cle de Peau. But, big but, I'm not terribly experienced with most eye creams. So far, I know the ones that burn and make my eyes red and the ones that I like for various reasons that don't burn my eyes. Has anyone used the Cle de Peau eye cream? Anyone? I was hoping to get some input on how it might compare to the PKR I keep reading about or the Cellcosmet that I that I have been reading on,or the Phytomer one several people love or even a few others. I know it is hard to compare product to product and I have asked a pretty odd question. I throw it all out here because I have to use my 25 dollar gift card in the next week or two or lose it and have been waffling on the Cle de Peau decision, but getting 25.00 off would be nice. I actually liked it fine until I started reading about all the stuff that might be better. Just for some actual information that might be useful. I'm 39 and do have the dark undereye circles mostly in the inner corners-sinuses I suspect-, a few laughter lines that seem pretty deep to me under my eyes and some very light crow's feet.
Again I throw myself on the mercy of the ladies of EDS. I have begun several wonderful products from advice here that I had never even heard of before. Stumbling upon this website a few months ago was one of those life-changing mishaps. Of course finding other obsessed skincare junkies is no small part of that. I am sure my husband is also really really relieved that I have almost stopped talking his head off and asking him to read something or smell this or feel that. |

Being a big fan of the Cellcosment (and the PTR!) I would love to help you - but, alas, I have not had the opporunity to try the CDP (can't get it over here)
The only thing I can say is that if you do require a fairly moisturising eye cream then the PTR Power K Eye Rescue is probably not for you, unless you're willing to put some more moisture over the top. It did work very well on my dark circles though! |

Thanks for that info on the PTR. I hadn't realized that it wasn't very moisturizing. I'm still going back and forth on the CDP. Not sure what to do there. I am considering ordering one of the Cellcosmet sample kits that has the eye cream and possibly trying it out that way. I am really getting a tingle from reading everything on the Valmont Renewing Pack that everyone is raving about. I'm trying to resist for the moment until at least I have made some sort of eye cream decision. After that...Watch Out Santa. |

I probably shouldn't mention then that the Renewing Pack is pretty damn good!
Is the $25 off CDP only, or off any brand? If it's any brand then have a try of the Murad Essential-C SPF15 eye cream if they have a tester |
