I would like to buy a little something, price range up to $80 for a new mom. I don't know anything other than she is from Budapest and has a background in marketing for cosmetic and pharmaceutical companies . I'm looking at her LinkedIn profile and she is a very pretty blonde girl with no makeup with her hair tied back in a ponytail. People usually get dolled up for profile pictures so I'm thinking she is probably not too much into stuff with artificial ingredients etc.
She is 34 and the wife of a co worker. I'm thinking along the lines of something just for her after she gives birth. I think she already has lots of baby stuff but I want to get her something just for her.
Can anyone recommend anything? What has been your favorite gifts as new moms? Any website recommendations? I'm in Canada |

What I have always done is buy mommy a bath basket, until your 6 week check up you can only shower and the thought of a soak in the tub seems like heaven. It's something to really look forward too, you can put it together yourself and buy organic products that you feel she would appreciate. I think mommy's always feel great that someone thinks of them along with the new baby! |

I do like bath stuff. I also like to give as little gifts for ladies:
hand cream
lip balms
I add hand cream(s) for the new mom gift basket. New moms are suddely washing their hands more.
Another different suggestion would be a gift certificate for a full service salon. She could decide how she would like to treat herself; hair, mani, etc. or maybe buy some salon products. |

I agree about the lip balms and hand creams ect. Anything to pamper mom. I guess having 4 myself and breastfeeding I found getting out for even a hair cut could be a challenge so the at home "spa" treatment seemed to work best especially in those early months. |
