Hi
I've been using glycolic acid once a week for about 5 weeks now and am very happy with the results. However, when I have finished this bottle I am going to give my face a rest but wanted to start using a 10% AHA cleanser, toner and moisturiser to carry on the good work.
Has anyone any recommendations? At the moment I am using a Skinceuticals cleanser and toner along with C 15 serum and B5 hydrating gel.
Many thanks

Hi Fatsia,
MD Formulations products have worked well for me in the past. They have a cleanser with 10% AHA - it's pretty bland but it really does what it's supposed to do! Jan Marini has a lotion called Bioglycolic Bioclear which is also pretty effective (on bumps & pimples anyway). And I think my favorite AHA/BHA product is the Murad AHA/BHA cleanser - which is actually a scrub. It's fantastic! I can also recommend MD Formulations Clearing Complex Masque - I use this regularly to keep pimples/bumps at bay.
I'm not sure if you should be using all three products with AHAs though if you want to give your skin a break. And btw, you should incorporate a sunblock into your routine (if you haven't already) particularly if you use AHAs. HTH! ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |
