Bought the Power Pack and the Baby Blue seems fine but I am having problems with Baby Quasar (red light). It seems that when I plug in the cord into the BQ, the light comes on before I even turn on the switch.
Did anyone have this problem? I'm hesitant to use it as I have images of power short circuiting.
Contacted EDS and they said they haven't heard of this problem and will ask the manufacturer.
I read through the 60+ pages of thread on BQ and I don't think I read about this sort of problem before.
Any feedback will be appreciated! Thanks!! |

I have had problems with my light NOT coming on and the lights skipping cycles but not this. The AdvanThera people are who I bought mine from directly and they are sending me a new power pack. Fortunately their warranty on mine was for five years.
You might contact AdvanThera (Denette at 1-800-944-1523) directly. |

Heard back from EDS, the first email said that EDS contacted AdvancedThera and that it is a fault and will replace it. Then I received a second email from EDS saying that Advanced Thera said that this is normal for Baby Quasar and it is just the machine warming up for its job and that it's normal. I'm confused because this is my second Baby Quasar purchase (the 1st one I gave away to my mom) and my first baby Quasar never lighted up by itself before I turned on the switch. Does this mean my old Baby Quasar was faulty because it never lighted up by itself to warm up?
Also, my Baby Blue doesn't light up before I turn on the switch so does this mean the Baby Blue is faulty? |

At this point, I think i would call AdvanTherea directly. I know EDS is trying to help but maybe you can describe the exact problems and talk to someone in the technical department who can reassure you on both units. It sounds like two separate issues. |

AdvanThera sent the new power pack and now my babyq is up and running. It could be something just that simple. |
