I traveled out of town last weekend to go to a very reputable Dermatologist for injections in my cheeks. My problem was not so much my cheekbones but gauntness.
I had three injections of Radiesse and more in one side than the other. She also had to massage that side quite a bit and it is very bruised. I know it is good that she massaged it so there shouldn't be much lumping.
She actually put more in the side of my face which was less gaunt to begin with because she said she needed to "raise" it.
It is still noticeable fuller than the other side three days later. I tried to call the nurse twice yesterday and haven't heard back. I am really worried I am going to be lopsided. |

I wouldn't worry yet. It's likely swelling. |

I hope so. I would feel better if it was my bad side (more wrinkled) that was overfilled. Unfortunately, I can't just pop over to the Dr.'s office as she is out of town. If it settles out, I think I am really going to like it. |

I had juvaderm that looked like more on one side of my nasolabial than the other. I drove myself (and my DH) crazy for about 4-5 days and then it settled. When I called they told me to let the swelling go down, wait a week and then call back and see if I needed to come in. I did not. |

Thanks! That is reassuring, especially since it is the bruised side - I am probably okay. |
