I have some fine lines and broken capillaries at my undereye area as I didn't take good care of it when I was young.
Is Baby Quasar safe to use on the area?
On the other hand did anyone manage to achieve smaller pores and less oily production through the red or blue Quasar? |

Always follow the suppliers instructions in relation to LED use and the eyes.
My experience of Baby Q is you can use the red/amber/infra red around the eye area but do keep the keep closed and do not look directly into the LEDS. The blue LED can be more of a problem with eyes so personally I would use goggles when using this wavelength, but read the instructions and follow them to the letter.
In relation to oil production, blue light does not control oil production but it does kill the bacteria that cause acne and is a great tool to control acne, it does not affect pore size.
Red/amber/ir light can affect pore size but it does depend on your skin type.
I would suggest you use a combination or red/amber/ir light to manage the oil production read some of the product reviews on EDS and look at products that control this.
I would also suggest looking at reading reviews on how the Clarisonic brush can help you.
If you using red/amber/ir LED do read the articles on use a green tea treatment before your LED session, this really does make a huge difference, but this is mainly for managing lines and wrinkles, so geared towards anti-ageing, but also the skin's ability to recover from the affects of the light.
Hope this helps.

thanks! i just saw a news report on tv today about LED light treatments that Hollywood stars are doing. They wear small goggles in the video and and led lights still can act on the undereye area.
I definitely will close my eyes and probably protect it with something.. |

I use the Green Tea HA Serum from GOW on my face with my baby Q and do use it around my eyes, no goggles. I just keep them closed.
It has not changed the oiliness at all and i have used it for years.. |
