it's a huge question and it's a source of my summer anxiety. Going to the beach with all my summery brown skinned buddies, I look like a steamed chicken in the morning and a steamed lobster at the end of the day. All of the attempts to become tan made me look like I have jaundice desease. So, two years ago, on one fine summer day I made up my mind to just be happy with my paleness and work out more on keeping me in good shape rather than changing my colour. So now, every time I want to wear my favorite shorts or mini skirt, I put on my legs and arms some DuWop Revolotion Light, it's a tinted moisturizer with SPF15 with a touch of shimmer, doesn't streak or stain, and smells sweetly of Ylang-ylang. |

I prefer to have brighter skin, not taned. Mostly because I am an Asian, not like Americans tall and sexy, born color is more suitable for me. If it is possible, I will try to stay indoor to avoid sun steaming.:P |

"Everything in moderation", I say. Prolonged exposure to the sun is not a good thing, but neither is living like a hermit! Be sun-savvy: wear adequate sunblock, reapply often, seek shade when possible. How much do you want to bet that some of those bronzed beach-bunnies at your local beaches have either used self-tanner or gone to a spray-tanning facility prior, to get that even DARK tanned look?! Either that, or they're extremely foolish, spending hours in the sun or a tanning bed before. They will be the ones writing in about 10 years, wanting to know what to do about the damaged they've caused to their skin. My favorite? The sun-goddesses, bronzed to the hilt, laying on the beach ... with a cigarette dangling from their lips:( |

Thank you Caspers Mum. From now on, I will not try to live like a hermit:P, and get some sunshine. |
