After reading a bunch of old posts raving about wrinkle "freezing" products, I finally stumbled into a Sephora and asked them what products they have of that type. The one the salesgirl pushed on me was "Dr Brandt's Crease Release" that is supposed to freeze and plump up stubborn wrinkles (my main concern is my nasty 11s; I don't really have wrinkles anywhere else). Unfortunately, it's $150 for a jar, so when I balked at that, she sent me home with a very generous sample for me to try it out (I'm thinking it should last me for a month).
Last night I went to a party and put a tiny dab on my 11s before getting ready. I think it worked because when I came home, I noticed that I didn't have as deep 11s as I would normally have after a night out laughing and gabbing it up, plus my makeup wasn't "settled" into the 11s like it normally is (and thus, making them much, much worse looking). I could certainly FEEL the product working (it stings).
I'm kinda excited about it. Has anyone else tried it? Are the results cumulative? I read the reviews over at Sephora and they seemed pretty positive, although a lot of the women say they use it as a means of extending their botox injections (so they get them less often). I don't have botox. And EDS doesn't carry it; maybe someone can recommend a similar-style product from here? |

Hi! I am interested in this product possibly and would love to hear if you are still using it. If so, what do you think of it so far?
Thanks!

I don't know what the active ingredient is in the Dr Brandt but I know that M Lab and Isomers have wrinkle reducing ingredients. I know other lines do as well, I think Peter Thomas Roth also. Does anyone know of the long term effects of these actives? I used M Lab for several weeks and it reduced the elevens a lot but they came back when I stopped using it. |

harriet,
I feel a bit stupid asking this, but what are "elevens"?
Did you go back to the M Lab? Why did you stop using it in the first place?
I am SO desperate to find something to help with my undereye lines/wrinkles as well as my forehead. I don't want to resort to Botox injections- Just wish there was some sort of cream or gel....

I would also like to hear from any others who have used this. My biggest problem area is under eye lines, and even if this is temporary, I think I'd still be pretty pleased!
Thanks! |
