Yesterday I bought a lot of FANCL skin care products and received free brow shaping service. Since I haven't plucked my eyebrows before, I gladly went to enjoy the service the same evening. After more than half an hour of pain, which was frequently interrupted because other clicents were coming in shopping for some things .
However, I found this morning that my eyebrows are not symmetric .
Now I have to figure the right shape of eye brow and pluck them myself.
Any suggestion is welcome. |

While I admire the shape of some people's brows, I've come to the conclusion that the best shape for me is that closest to my nature and it's the easiest for me to maintain. |

I suggest not to overdo the plugging. I have nice thick brows but once I overplugged and made them skinny. My sister yelled at me, so I had to let them all grow back and the next time I plugged, I tried to just do the outer edges, basically to keep them clean looking.
So I think the best shape would be to keep as close to your natural shape as possible. If you feel your brows aren't symmetrical, you can plug the side that is bigger and match that with the other side. |

I agree, your brow shape should just be an enhancement to your natural brow line. Shaping does help define the arch. Thicker brows are more youthful while very thin brows tend to be aging. |

I like this shape, rather straight until the arch which is close to the end of the brow:

I think thick (not too thick though!) eyebrows are in at the moment.
I first started plucking my eyebrows about 8 years ago, back then I liked my eyebrows to be REALLY thin, so they were like just a line... (now I hate it! I want thicker eyebrows) anyway, I liked it at the time and continued to pluck any new hairs to keep the thin shape. Obviously, plucking for so many years has stopped most of my eyebrow hair growing back. I tried regrowing them a couple of years ago and didn't pluck for months. I got random hairs grow back so really couldn't get the look of thicker eyebrows .I have been letting them grow back for 2 years now and it just isn't going to happen! So at the moment I am slightly inbetween.
I hate my eyebrows but there isn't much I can do now by the looks of it, other than pencil them in.
Someone once said to me, remember your eyebrows are sisters, not twins so I am trying not too worry too much that one is slighly thicker/lower/higher than the other |

I agree I think sticking to your natural shape but "cleaned up" and groomed is what looks best. |

I also support as natural of a look for the eyebrows as possible. I have never liked very thin eyebrows because they age even a young person! |

I read recently that the fuller brow is in right now - like Brooke Sheilds in the eighties (why won't they let the eighties go?). I think it is a pretty look, and easy to maintain. What part of your eyebrow did they screw up? The location of the mistake would dictate the shape you should opt for right now. But don't freak - they will grow back! You have only just had this done, so it is totally reversible. If they are just uneven in width, maybe try an eyeshadow or pencil in your brow colour to fill out the more sparse one. I use a firm brush and light brown eye shadow on my eyebrows to fill in the sparser spots, and it looks really natural. It would give nature time to put everything right! |
