hi
I Just purchased a Baby Quasar online, however i just realised that the socket wont fit in an australian power outlet.
Would this product still work fine if i buy a standard US to australian adapter?
Any help will be appreciated
Thanks! |

Hi,
I don't have Baby Quasar so I am not sure what come in the box. But, the information on Baby Quasar in EDS says the voltage is 110-120V so you have to get voltage converter, not just the plug adapter because in Aus we use 220-240V. Just get one off ebay, that was what I did. Look for voltage converter 110V to 220V, they are usually not expensive. Many are from Hongkong, but for expensive equipment like Baby Quasar I would recommend an ebay Aussie seller Transformers-r-us. |

Awesome. Thank you so much.
I've looked into it from the seller you mentioned, found a converter which switches it from 220-240 down to 110-120v, however, there are different Wattages avaiable ranging from 100W to 2000W.
According to the sellers page, to work out the wattage, you multiple the volts by the amps. So therefore it would be 110-120v multiplied by.... not sure how many amps. Wondering if somebody could check there user manual to see, or maybe it is printed on the actual appliance itself.
