I remember there was a post with a lip balm recipe for Dr. H lip balm. Searching for it, cannot find. Someone please help  |

Castor Oil - 25%
Jojoba Oil - 20%
Beeswax - 10%
Shea Butter - 15%
Candelilla Wax - 10%
Sweet Almond Oil 15%
Apricot Kernel Oil - 5%
Essential oils, flavorings, and other additives
1. Heat everything except the optional additives until the waxes melt (about 90 degrees C).
2. Remove from heat and quickly add your essential oils and other stuff, stir rapidly to disperse the ingredients.
3. Pour into containers quickly before the mixture starts to solidify. Refrigerate. |

I guess I need to scour in the DIY section more, I was trying to search and it seems that I don't know how to use the search tool  |

LOL I just go to the recipe index and look for the one that seems to be what you are looking for, for me it's easier than the search! |

We all have times like that so I can relate! It's just hard to find time for yourself and things you enjoy. hopefully things will calm down for you soon.  |

Hi DM,
Long time no speak. I have bought quite a few diff types of flower waxes to try and replicate the balm, hoping it will be good - nothing works magic for my lips like that balm. I think the secret is in using more flower wax than beeswax... |
