I used my $50 coupon (thanks! EDS! ), and of course, I bought more than $50. I got
- DDF Sulfur Therapeutic Mask (really need a clay mask to control my breakouts. I had very good experience with DDF mint clay mask, bought Dr. H clay mask last time, but I'm really not impressed)
- Vivier Vitamin-C IDS™ High Potency Serum 10 (read so much good reviews about vic C, so I have to give it a try, and I'll report back)I've also asked for some trial samples (hopefully, I'll get them. cause I really want to try before I buy)
I got a small sample of Decleor Ylang Ylang oil, I dont know how to use it... any advice? |

Hi Happygirl,
I'm no help on the Decleor advice wanted but just to say - yay - your purchases sound GREAT
Maybe, with the Decleor, you'd use it the same as Neroli Oil (a few drops on slightly damp skin after you've cleansed). Applied with the decleor method that someone posted here not long ago.

There have been quite a few posts on Ylang-Ylang oil. It seems that most people have had good experiences with Ylang-Ylang oil or balm. Do you suppose to use it every night? just around the "problem" oily areas? Do you suppose to massage till your skin completely absorbs the oil?
I've used it twice, but I dont know what's the right way to use it. The first time I used after cleanser, then followed by moisture. However, my skin felt very oily. So, the 2nd time, I used it after cleanser and then I washed my face again after using Ylang-Ylang. Which is the right way? |

I use neroli oil and love it. Method for applying it is not more than 3 drops on the tips on the fingers and massage into just cleansed skin that is still a little damp. there should be no feeling of oiliness on the skin after use.
Always follow up with your chosen moisturiser. |

Happygirl - have a look at http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=3691 for instructions on how to use the oils. You shouldn't have to wach your skin after applying it, only use a few drops and press them into your skin, then apply balm/moisturiser over the top. I generally use the oils at night (when I use them) but I have also used Neroli during the day with a light lotion or just sunblock over it.
- I just replied to your message and recommended the Dr H clay mask - ignore that! On a good note, the DDF Sulfur Therapeutic Mask gets really good reviews. |

got to pop out to town but just a quick note to say I use DDF Sulphur Therapeutic Mask and its.......ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! for breakouts.
It really dries and kills stubborn spots within a few days - but you MUST leave it on overnight to see its real effects. They say leave it on for only 20 mins.

Mabsy - thanks, i was too eager to place my order . But i bought the Dr H clay mask last time (about 4 weeks ago!!), and I dont particular like it. I know there are lots of good review, but for whatever reason, I dont see the same benefit most people reported.
Farouk - so glad to know that you are so high on DDF Sulphur Therapeutic Mask. If you leave it on overnite, wont that dry out your skin too much?
Suki - Don't forget to let us know how you like the products. The valmont renewing pack, the thalgo moisture quench mask and the multiactive toner are on my watch list. Maybe I'll ask for some samples. |

Texas to Vancouver and Vancouver to Texas is HORRIBLE! I waited 2.5-3 weeks for my order that was coming from texas. Canada customs is being extra careful and picky right now. I was told they're pulling aside 75% of packages for further screening. I'm not sure if they screen on the way out!? With christmas the usps is probably doing the same
I assure you that it's definitely not EDS, I always get my order within 2-3 days...so I know they aren't slow in packaging it up and mailing it! |

I'm not sure about how long it would usually take for you to get a parcel from Vancouver, but around this period of time the postal system slows down a bit under the volume of Xmas parcels/letters and customs also tend to be a lot more vigilant If you don't receive it this week then give EDS a call. |

Going back to the masks - the best EVER mask I have tried for blemishes/breakouts is Eve Lom Rescue Mask - is is FAB. Really clears up yours skin just when you think it will never look decent again A couple of days later and you wonder what all the fuss was about - until next month when you go through it all again.... Ahhh, the joys of being a girl! |

Is the air traffic very congested nowadays because of X'mas or custom become more picky? How come shipment is getting slower and slower in general..... Not sure whether to order now or later.
happygirl163: is the sulfur mask good? |

I just tried the DDF Sulfur Therapeutic Mask. After few mins on, the mask gave a tightening feeling. I left it on for more than half an hour, then washed off with cold tap water. My skin felt very soft and smooth. Of course, this is only the first try, but I like it. In the past, I tried DDF mint clay mask, it was very good, too. The other clay mask i've tried is Dr. H clay mask, which I dont particularly like. It was a bit too harsh for me. |
