OK, let me set the picture - I have combination/oily skin, and I wanted a refreshing spritz for the warm weather ahead. I had tried the Soothing Protection Spray some time ago, it didn't work well with my oily skin and put me off Dermalogica's toners for a while. All hesitations aside, I've given this one a go, and it's much better suited to my skin.
It's a pity it's a little too big to tote around in your hand-bag during the day. Otherwise, good packaging. Because it's a spray, it's ultra-convenient - bonus points!! Of course, you have to take care around the eye area! Alternatively, you can apply it to cotton wool and apply that way - but what waste of the convenient spritz! :P
It says it suits all skin types, and as someone with combo/oily skin, I found it light, but still hydrating - leaves my skin rather moist. I use it without a moisturiser/as a moisturiser when I'm running late! Otherwise, I spritz, wait a little while, apply moisturiser.
The scent... m... not sure how I feel about this one. It's based on Lavender and though it's not at all over-powering, it's just not for me.
So what's the verdict? It's not my favourite toner but it's still worth a try. When it comes to toners, scent is an important factor for me. I think that's why this one isn't grabbing me as much as it otherwise would. All the same, I'll probably re-purchase. |

the nozzle is good, but I find it stings when it gets into eyes, really badly.....

This is, hands-down, my favorite toner and favorite Dermalogica product. It's super hydrating, soothing, and just makes my skin glow. I don't think I could live without this product. For anyone who doesn't use toners because they've tried harsh, stinging, burning ones in the past, you must try this toner! It's gentle and effective! |

I've just started using this again after a year without and I love it. Every toner I've ever tried has irritated my skin, especially those that require rubbing with a cotton pad.
I'd stop using it because it felt as though it made my skin greasy and my pores more visible. I've now realised that is because I was using moisturiser over it when I simply don't need to, at least in the warmer months. I just close my eyes and spray towards my upper and lower face, then smooth around and let it dry. It leaves my skin smooth and soft and is the perfect base for my tinted moisturiser in the day and doesn't leave me a greasy slick in the morning after waking. Will see how it goes in winter. |

I use it everyday, but don't take a deep breath when you are spraying...that is when the scent is strong! |
