Hello everyone. I'm new to EDS. I bought HQ from ADC -- brand "Piramal Healthcare" and I'm not pleased with it at all. What company do you recommend buying HQ cream from? Which is the best HQ cream and where can I buy it? Instead of lightening effects, this brand is making my face red!  I used HQ cream many yrs ago, and it def lightened my skin. I just don't recall the brand. Thanks for listening!! |

You may want to try Obagi Clear. It's part of the Obagi Nu-Derm system but can be purchased and used separately. It's got 4% HQ in it. I'm currently doing the Nu-Derm system and I will say that my face is red but I believe it's from the Retin-A that I'm also using and not from the Obagi products in the Nu-Derm system with HQ in it.
While I'm sure there are other products with HQ in them, I'm not familiar with them. The Obagi Clear is a semi transluscent cream that is relatively thick but not greasy. No smell, dries matte. |

| I would also give the Obagi Clear my vote too. I used something from ADC called Mela-Lite, and I don't think it was nearly as effective as Clear. It also had a pretty strong odor! |

I also agree with Kims and its_kristy, I was using Retin A on it's own for awhile and whilst it was effective for pigmentation, it wasn't until I started to incorporated the Obagi Clear and Blender from the nu derm system that I finally got the results I wanted. It's available thru EDS.
The clear is a HQ that you can use on it's own without doing the Obagi nu derm system. However the entire nu derm system, whilst aggressive really worked for me. I gained a lot of great information thru reading the threads posted on EDS under Obagi. |

I'm cheap. I am giving palmers a try at 4.99 a jar, since my dermatologist didn't think I needed a 4% cream at this time. Palmers is 2%.
If it doesn't work, I'll try Obagi! |

| Obagi Clear is good. For a cheaper price... you can buy hydroquin or get your dermatologist to give you a script for a compounded one in the pharmacy! |
