I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE nude lips. I usually put foundation on my lips then i put mac lipgloss (the lip balm in a black and white tube) or #1 keils lip gloss....it usually makes my lips look really pale and glossy. I love it Smile

You're not alone...nude lips allow my eyes to pop!

I like Bobbi Brown Lip Shimmer in "Bare" for a barely there pinky tint, since my lips appear to be a bit grey on their own.

I love MAC lippies for this look, they have lots of them.

I have recently came across one of K Aucoin's Lipsticks (Faith) and I'm in love with it.,

I love the nude lip look.

My all time favorite lip stick is Dr Hauschka novum lipstick no 4. It's a brown-beige color with a hint of pink. Smile

My lips for some odd reason are naturally really red...so to put pink gloss on it never usually looks pink. So it's hard to get it nude! Since i've been using a toothbrush to exfoliate them once and awhile it seems to have improved the color and texture quite a bit. Does anyone else have probs with red lippies? lol

I don't mind the nude lips but the eye make-up has to be dramatic

Me! I always have lined eyes, if not smokey altogether (soft smokey, not bold smokey, but smokey nonetheless), so nude lips is the way to go! I can't seem to be wearing bright red lipsticks anymore though it used to be my sig of sorts. Now I'm into flushed cheeks, dramatic eyes and nude lips!

I have to be careful though, don't want to look washed out so after searching high and low my absolute favourite is the el cheapo Fleshtone from Revlon's Super Lustrous worn sometimes with, sometimes without gloss and Bobbi Brown's lip colour in Nude. I also used to like MAC's Twig a lot for the nude look and purchased it seven times, but somehow the colour doesn't go that well on me anymore (could my skin tone have changed? hmm )

There was a thread a while ago about Angelina Jolie's nude lippie, and everyone went looking for Laura Mercier's Discretion, which she supposedly wears.

I love the look of nude lips, but I'm having a hard time finding the right color for me. I have olive skin, and most nude lipsticks make me look washed out. Any suggestions for olive-skinned folks? So far, the only colors that I've had luck with are light mauves and pinks, but I want to try something else.

cortigirl, I have this same problem--- any pinks I put on show up really bright on me, ouch! For me, the best solution has been to gravitate toward brown lip colors. They always looks really scary in the tube, but then on my lips they look like a gorgeous, natural nude. Right now I'm totally loving Pop Beauty's lip gloss in "toffee."

For those with yellow undertones using beige nudes makes you look very washed out, so actually flesh pinks/fuschias that are a creamy texture (not too pigmented) actually create an excellent "nude" lip.

For those with pigmented lips that don't match well with sheer beige tones, try a lip concealing product! They are excellent for enhancing the existing shade of any lipstick.

Easily obtainable in the States is the Mac lip erase, although I'm not a fan of the texture. I prefer the Japanese drugstore brand Canmake which makes an excellent and cheap chapstick type concealer.

I think some putty like undereye concealers or foundations can also work well as a lip concealer.

Another nude lip lover. I am really curious for Harlotte's line. I have been filling my adorebeauty cart, and not completing my order for some time, but I might cave in sooner or later.

The models look, as said by someone else, like tanned corpses Laughing, but I love the idea of several nude colors

yes! thankyou for clarifying that, miranets. I've failed a lot of time with beige lippies, and I never figured it out..!

Loreal Colour Riche Made for Me Naturals are really nice nudes for women based on hair colour. It seems to work quite well, I use two, (Cashmere) for light brown and a darker one (Organza) for brunettes. I like the lighter shade for daytime and the darker shade for evening.

I'm Asian and have yellow skin tone...nude lips by definition make me look like I am in a state of rigor mortis... Laughing It looks so unflattering on Asians, even with stronger, dramatic eyes. My take on a 'nude lip' has to have a hint of pink, or brown pink, and glossy not matte.

Mac, Bobbi Brown, and I love lipsmackers! They have great soft pinks that are also my favorite.
I am always on the hunt and I have a drawer full that look the same but aren't! Wink

I love MAC's Myth lipstick, also Scott Barnes lipslicks, esp. in Suggestive is a beautiful shade. Years ago I only did the dark, berry lips (so 90's, lol!) .
I really love the nude lip with a dark lined eye.
