What do you use to exfoliate your entire body. I have tried scrubs and I am not impressed with the results. Doe anyone use enzymes or chemical peels. |

Try lactic, glycolic or salicylic acid; these are mild skin acids that are proven to work. |

I know you said you don't really like scrubs, but have you tried just pure sugar? I love that I get a really good scrub from it, but that it never over does it, and doesn't cause any reactions (I am allergic to everything). Other scrubs I have tried just don't seem to be effective. |

I love mixing coffee grinds with oil. It works better then any scrubs I've purchased. |

I know what you mean, Jazzy12. I think next time, I want to try Juice Beauty body peel.
Someone here suggested using sugar as a scrub. I don't like to use sugar because I believe it can clog your pores, but I can be wrong about that.
I also want to try the body brush and upgrade my Clarisonic brush to include the body brush. I've heard that the upgraded version is a bit heavier then the original version, but it is more powerful.
I tried Cellex-C body peel and I don't suggest it. It was very messy and left a film on my skin when used on regular basis.
Have you tried Juice Beauty body peel? |

If you are looking for a drug store AHA lotion, I suggest the AmLaction. Very reasonable, has 12% glycolic and effective. Bottom shelf in the drug store. |

You are so right! I use Am-Hydrin 12% a lot and even more so in the winter. It can feel a bit sticky but it fades and same with the smell. |

I tried using papain mixed with a water into a paste. I loved how soft my skin felt after. I think if I mixed this with manual exfoliation from the dermalogica cloth mentioned I would be good. |

I have heard that papain is fantastic! Where did you find it? I think that is the pineapple enzyme? Was it in a cream or did you buy it separately? |

Sonic brushes are great! They are a form of exfoliation but they claim to work in harmony with the skin's natural elasticity. Clarisonic has one, there are a few other ones out there too, with different heads/hardness for your face or body.
I use Juice Beauty Apple Peel. I like that it's completely natural and it does a great job without the 'chemical' feel. It doesn't dry my skin out like GA or SA and my acne-prone skin really appreciates that |

You can buy both Papain (papaya enzyme) or Bromelain (pineapple enzyme) at most all health food stores in powder form, or order online. They both do a nice job of exfoliation. |

Hey thanks Dark Moon! I have a Noah's right near me so I will go and see if I can find it. I have heard they are fantastic, and being that everything breaks me out, maybe these more natural products wont. I am just jazzed that they come separately and not in some formulation. |

Great, I have used both as a facial mask for the same purpose, if you do just don't leave them on too long! LOL |

At the risk of appearing dumb or profoundly out of the loop..........you exfoliate your entire body? I didn't know that was beneficial? |

Yep, gets rid of the dead skin cells on the body skin, just like on the face. Helps moisturizer penetrate better, skin looks better, etc. |

I do the same. As we age, the cell turnover rate slows down and it helps to exfoliate. |
