Hi, this comb is a bit pricey, $24.00, but well worth it!
I have waist length, curly hair and have a heck of a time combing through it, esp. when wet.
I could not believe the difference it time and ease while using this , esp. when wet.
Totally awesome comb!! |

The comb seems interesting,
I had to go take a look as I have past shoulder length curly hair.
But maybe if I have very very long hair it could be useful.
But I find with the conditioner I use my hair i actually quite slipperly and detangles easily?
Do you have dry hair or extremely curly hair? |

The pics on the Ouidad site are intriguing. But I don't understand what makes the comb so special or function differently than a regular seamless wide-tooth comb. What does the extra row of teeth really add to the combing process that careful combing with a wide-tooth comb wouldn't also accomplish? |

I've been wanting to get that but keep forgetting to actually buy it. Thanks for the review, I've heard it's a great comb and now I want one. |

I was kind of wondering,
too bad the Ouidad site does not have more info.
I find for myself it is hard to detangle my hair when it is dry unless I spray it with wateror something.
But one of my friends she is half african and half native/white and her hair was so hard to take care of.
It was down her back almost, and it was not like "african hair" but not like "white hair texture".
Her hair was in very tight spirals, and she had to use tons of conditioner to manage her hair.
The girl I know, her hair did look nice, and she never colored her hair or anything either-so it was just the natural texture.
I used to have some wooden like comb from Aveda that was nice- it recently broke.
Not sureif they even sell those though.
Maybe the person who posted has very thick unrully hair?
hard to tell on the internets! |

After reading the reviews on Sephora, I'm going to pass only because of the weight of the comb. It does look really big and I'll have to see it in person first. For now I ordered a Tangle Teezer off of Ebay for around $15.00 (coming from the UK though). |

My hair is quite curly when wet, I always use a straightener to dry it. My hair is on the dry side as well.
The comb is quite heavy though, but I do not mind it.

Not sure how the double-sided comb works, it is quite odd looking, but it does work!
You have to take in account I have quite a lot of waist length hair, so it can be a pain in the a** to comb it, esp. when wet. |

Wow that is a pricey comb. But hey, if it works then that its worth it. I think I'm going to add this to my sephora wishlist. |
