Recently I found a super easy way to remove the dead skin of my lips. It's easy to do and will not take any extra product or tools.
Every night before go to bed, evenly cover your lips with a thick layer of your favorite lip balm. In my case, I used Carmex jasmine green tea moistrurizing lip balm. Then go to have a nice sleep.
And in the next morning, wash away the residual lip balm with clean water. While doing so, you'll find yourself exfoliating your lip in the very process. Cause the dead skin has been so detached from your lip that you can wash them away with your finger tips. No sugar, honey or dedicated lip exfoliator needed.
This method actually saves you from a sum of money or effort of making DIY exfoliator. And you can wake up every morning with beautiful lips. |

I like to use a clean washcloth and just lightly rub over lips. Some facial scrubs also work well. Clinique Seven Day scrub suggested it in a GWP literature that it can be used on lips. It does work well also. |

No one of us like peeled, chapped lips.. Exfoliate your lips naturally..
Mix some olive oil and some sugar together, pat it on your finger, and gently rub it against your lips.Do it once a week or use according to the type of your lips..
It may look very simple but it is more effective and cost effective.
Use your lip balms for outdoors.
Apply butter, it also cures chapped lips and renders more softness to your lips.. |

First post, so hopefully no mistakes!
I've had terribly chapped lips for years, and for the last 2-3 years I've been using a lip exfoliator made by Dermaglow which contains jojoba meal with avocado and other oils. It works well but is discontinued... most recently I tried Eucerin Healing Ointment on my lips and it works a charm - minutes after applying it, the dead part of the skin rolls right off... I actually feel like they are improving for the first time in decades. I also use it as an overnight treatment. |

I mix a little sugar with almond oil to make a lip scrub then apply balm (I'm using paula's choice). |

Honey also works very well and Monuka honey is best. Put some on your lips at night and wash in the morning. Just try not to lick it |
