Shiseido's facial cotton and DHC's silky cotton are reputed to be some of the best cotton pads around. See reviews here:

Yet, they do seem thicker than regular cotton pads. Therefore, I was wondering if they absorb more toner/product than your regular cotton pads? |

I always use them, it is kind of a treat because they are so soft and they don't leave lint.
I would not say they absorbe more product than others. In fact they are not really thicker, just more solid like real coton.
Some times I split them in half (split top from bottom) for small jobs like little eye make-up to remove.
They are great to use to extract black heads, because they don't iritate my skin as kleenex or other coton pads do.
Try them and you will be addicted  |

I have not tried both. I use Shiseido and cut them in half and keep some in full size.
They are perfect to soak my eyes with eye makeup remover without pulling the skin around the eye area. |

| I used to use organyc. I have used both of the brands. I think they're a little expensive. |
