How many of us here are using a homemade Vitamin C serum?
How long did it take to notice any results?
I've been using my own serum for two nights...TWO nights and I think I notice a difference already. The first night I made my serum with glycerin and the next morning my pores looked enlarged. Weird.
The second night (last night) I used aloe vera gel instead of glycerin and skin looks brighter and a bit glowy. I noticed my skin was not as skiny/slick with oil by EOD today. And thankfully my pores look normal size again!

TooInvolved,
I have been using a DIY C serum for about two months. I did notice some initial brightening and some fading of hyper pigmentation caused by the sun. (However not sure if this is due to the C or Arbutin serum that I use).
Anyway, I mainly use it for prevention. Even if I can not see the changes, I know it helping to build collagen.
I did initially get some blackheads in strange places... but once I reduced the strength to 15% (was at 20%) and really massaged it in the blackheads stopped.
Hope that helps!
