I went for my monthly facial massage this afternoon. I've been thinking lately, with all the products I bought, do I still need to go for a professional facial? I think the answer is yes. If nothing else, I enjoy the peaceful and relaxing moment ... you don't need to work, just laying there .... breathing and relaxing .... |

I love a professional facial. You said it right: "relaxation." It is such a treat. Very rarely, but once in a while, I need an extraction or two. The woman who does my facials always does my brows for no extra charge and does an awesome job on them. Love having my hands and feet pampered.
Besides the above I feel I take outstanding care of my skin. I consider a facial just a pampering experience.
If I had the choice of a facial or full body massage I would take the full body any day. |

Think still need that... some of the process like extraction and steaming is really hard to be done at home. ![Wink](images/smiles/wink.gif) |

I hope I can always get professional facials. Like Winnie, I rarely have to have extractions, but my face glows for days afterward. The atomosphere and pampering alone would make me continue.

It has been a long time but yetersday I had a facial with Yonka products.
I knew that I had clogged pores and I really appreciated getting "the gunk out" with steaming and extracting.
I did leave with Yonka samples of the cleansing gel and the anti-redness cream Phyto 54.
When I got home and realized how much I had spent ($70. plus gst plus tip!) I realized I could have purchased some high end skin
care.
I will try to exfoliate and mask more to keep those clogged pores away.
Some salon treatments are worth doing on a regular basis. Years ago I did have facials every 4 -6 weeks and it seemed to help. But I think facials will not be a regular salon visit for me! |

I agree. I just had my first facial with Sothys products and booked my next one as I was leaving! It was absolutely amazing... A close tie for me between a facial and a massage, if I had to choose one! |
