I am in love with Jouviance EcoDefense Antioxidant Emulsion. I bought it at Shoppers Drug Mart. It is made by a Quebec dermatologist. It is a light moisturizing antioxidant product that I use before my sunscreen every day. It contains no preservatives, dyes, colors, or artificial fragrances. It has a natural fragrance that comes from the ingredients, I think it may be orange oil. This product smells so good I want to eat it!
The main reason I use this is because I believe it is a superior antioxidant product. It contains a combination of 5 antioxidants which work synergistically. They are Oligomeric proanthocyanidins (pine bark), Phyllanthus emblica (Indian Gooseberry), Cranberry seed, Green tea, and Quintescine which is an antioxidant peptide.
The ingredient I am most excited about is the Pine bark extract, which is also known as pycnogenol. It is supposed to be 20 times more powerful than Vitamin C, and 50 times Vitamin E.
Anyways, if you want to try a new anxioxidant product and you have sensitive skin like I do (I cant tolerate Vitamin C serums very well) I recommend this one. I find it to be a good light moisturizer that sinks in fast, is non oily, and gives my face immediate radiance.
It comes in a 50 ml pump-dispenser container and I believe it was $65 dollars or so. |

Thanks for the review, amonavis! I've been wondering about this one. Are you able to post the ingredient listing and are you still liking it? TIA! |

Hi there, unfortunately I threw away the box a while ago, and I can't find the ingredients anywhere on the internet. I can tell you there are no parabens colors or dyes in the products.
I still like the product but I have been using Revaleskin coffeeberry and it seems to give more results while at the same time improving my tendancies towards redness. I think that the "Radiance" and "glow" I get from Jouviance might be low level irritation; if I use it a few times my skin looks great but if I use it every day my cheeks become a little rosier than Id like. Keep in mind that this is not going to be an issue for most people- I have extremely sensitive skin which is prone to rosacea!
I also wish that the product lasted longer than 6 months once opened. I think that if you spend 70 dollars on a product, it should really last at least a year. I like how revaleskin stays fresh for 24 months once opened. |
