A friend told me she heard a week ago on TV that Korea has developed anti-aging drinks, so I googled it. Sure enough. Here's the article:
http://nuttynewswire.com/story/24539.shtml
and it continues here:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/northkorea/7804677/North-Korea-creates-super-drink.html

The anti-oxidation drink contains 60 kinds of "microelements" extracted from more than 30 species of plants, according to the communist state's official news agency KCNA.
"It, with effects of both preventive and curative treatment, helps improve mental and retentive faculties by multiplying brain cells," KCNA said.
The drink can also protect skin from wrinkles and black spots, and prevent common conditions such as heart disease by removing "acid effete matters", it said.
"It also makes skin fair."
The drink is a breakthrough by the state company Moranbong Carbonated Fruit Juice Joint Venture, which also makes fizzy water flavoured with fruits such as apples, peaches and strawberries, KCNA said.
A company manager to the agency the drink has "proved efficacious among workers of such industrial establishments as thermal power station and smeltery and at medical institutions".
The miracle drink attracted "much interest from Chinese, German and other businessmen" at a trade fair in Pyongyang last month, the news agency said.

Will it also clean my house and fold my laundry?
It sounds good, but there's no evidence presented that it actually works, so I'm skeptical. |

I also heard recently there is some collagen chocolate this is "supposed to be good for skin".
But I think for anti-ageing or whatever, it might be a good idea if you can eat things with a lot of cocoa or chocolate with at least 70% cocoa?
My stepfather has been doing that at least 20 or 30 years and he is 75 now!
He still downhill skis, plays tennis in a league 4 days a week, goes jogging, swimming, pilates, and exercises at home!
I am not even 1/2 that age and can not even do all that in a week
I really think it is a big part of what the foods high in cocoa do.
Or maybe there is some other antioxidant that is just as good?
I drink green tea and I have not noticed anything amazing from that..tastes good though!
Maybe if you find out the vitamins they use you could just get the same supplements here?
I know asian imported foods, when u buy them in Canada, all those drinks are very expensive.
I used to shop at a japanese grocery store 3x a week for some small snacks and this store ended up closing (their lease was up, Iknow the owner) and it seemed very hard to try and sell many items like foods as such high prices.
Like a can of soda was $4-5, frozen items..even more.
But this is because the store was importing their own items.
If you want to buy stuff from Korea (I buy tea from someone actually in China, yunnan).
Shipping is at least 33% of the cost!
I buy cheap items (compared to locally) and for a $20 order, priced by weight shipping is like $8 for airmail.
If you buy stuff from asian places online,
do not get "land shipping" or whatever,
it will take almost 3 months for your items to come by boat before getting to the Canadian postal system.
with airmail and whatever, it have never taken more than 3 weeks for my items!
ebay might have these items who knows? |

North Korea is kinda like the last place I would expect a miracle drink to come from... because of political reasons I doubt this will surface in North America anytime soon (isnt there a trade embargo or some sort with North Korea)? |
