I returned the product about 2 months ago for refund. So far I have not heard from them yet. I tried calling (say they would get back to me), emailing...No reply whatever.
I just wonder if anyone got their refund successfully from this company? Although they claim they offer 100% guarantee, I am beginning to wonder if this is true. |

You could pm Ian S the CEO of JB. He is on this forum under that name. If you are disappointed, I'm sure he will arrange the refund. I have to say I am surprised though. JB customer service gets rave reviews here...maybe it was a bad patch? |

That really has me puzzled. In the four months I have been using JB's products I have found their customer service to be outstanding. |

Guess my skin is different from everyone else, broke out in tiny pimples all over, I guess I was allergic to the sunblock. Anyway, it's their lack of reply that really bugs me. How do I "pm" Ian? Thanks! |

Even though I couldn't use the product myself, my guess on your refund is that something out of the ordinary happened, because I've heard nothing but good things about JB here on the forum.
It could have gotten lost in the mail, or whatever. I'm sure if you PM Ian, he will make it right. When I posted that ADCE didn't agree with my very oily forehead, he offered me a free product of any other one of my choice, which was totally unnecessary for him to do.

Well, I got an email from Alphaderma the day I first posted here(not sure if it was Ian as it was unnamed). Basically he says they have problems with computer servers, too many employees, and many people abusing their refund policy. Anyway, he promised he would look into matter. Hopefully I would get my money back soon. If not, I will definitely try to contact Ian directly.
Thank you all and wish me luck! |

I just wanted to chime in on our return policy. In the beginning I was really unfamiliar with this type of web sales. I put up a tramendous return policy hoping that people would not abuse it or take advantage. Since then the majority of returns have been bottles with the pump not even actuated and the contents of the bottle simply dumped out and an empty bottle being returned. A nice note inside saying it did not work and they just bought it a week ago and are returning it. It became so bad we had to change our policy. We simply can't allow that, we only want to do what is proper for everyone. We do offer a 10 Day FREE TRIAL and even an inexpensive 1oz that you can try before commiting to a full size or a FREE OFFER. Our refund policy now clearly states that you have 45 days to try any normal purchase and if you are not satisfied return for a full refund. Our Return Policy clearly states that all FREE OFFERS are NON-REFUNDABLE. I would suggest that if you are not sure you will like the product buy the regular offer and try it, if you spend the extra and like it we will apply a small credit towards your next order. I am sorry if some customers feel that it is not fair but our return policy was being abused and we had to impliment some rules. Anyone who has sent a return and feels they have not been satisfied please e-mail me direct and I will personally look into it. I will take care of them to make all of our true customers happy, but there are some that were true fraud and we have to look at that very carefully because the customers keep ordering under other names and continue to do the same thing. For anyone who feels they were not handled properly I am sorry and will endeavour to make it right.
Thank you and everyone have a Happy Holiday.

... I'm encountering problem from another company. Now I'm still waiting for the package to come. They already charged my card but I have yet to see anything from them for 3 weeks+.
Their customer service is lousy... with all standard answers "lookin into the issue", "get back to you later", "overseas shipment is about 2-4 weeks", "need to check with my supervisor/manager for details". Just asking a simple and easy question: When was the shipment made?, ha.., after a week still cannot give me the exact date! Donno if they never ship, post by surface mail, no stock or watever....? Seem that the CS staff knowing NUTS and total blank. Or the company has no system for their CS folk to do some simple tracking? No logistic control? If that's the case, pls better not to do business on the internet, totally cannot cope. Really Fed Up!
Hope I don't need to call IDD to follow up later... They provide free shipping within the States, but come on, I pay them for international shipping fee to ship my products.... yet still provide such kind of service
EDS is always the best! |
