Hello
I've saw the site and the amazon reviews of " facial workout" program by Tal Reinharts. It's not expensive. Have You tried it ? It is alright ? |

Hi Vero,
I've tried it. It's definitely alright and a fine program, but not among my top favorite facial programs. It's a very professionally made and designed video, with three beautiful models demo'ing the exercises. The exercises are extremely clearly demonstrated--better than virtually all other facial programs out there in terms of clarity of how to do the exercises.
However, in my opinion, there are better exercise programs out there. All the exercises are toning exercises with either no or very light resistance. The breakdown of exercises is:
* 1 for forehead
* 5 for the eyes
* 3 for the lips
* 3 for the cheeks
* 3 for the jaw and chin area
* 3 for the neck area
19 total exercises
The eye and forehead exercises were good but standard ones. I was totally disappointed by the cheek exercises, as they involve no or very resistance and only covered a limited part of the cheeks. Also, the ratio of the number of eye exercises to cheek exercises seemed to be off in my opinion, as there were more eye exercises than cheek exercises, rather than the other way around. So you can calibrate my review against your own needs, I definitely needed a program that gets to business on the cheeks--my biggest weakness--so this wasn't close to cutting it for me. I did like the mouth exercises, especially the fish-faced one with light resistance (though I turned that into heavy resistance). The jaw, chin, and neck exercises were either good or fine, but the one bothersome omission for me is that of an exercise for the platysma, which is the largest neck muscle by far!
I ended up selling my copy of the DVD (and just took some notes on the exercises). Hands down, my favorite facial program is FlexEffect, so I would highly recommend it. They also are selling just a DVD workout (much cheaper, ~ $30) from their 2nd edition with 14 exercises that I would definitely recommend over The Facial Workout. But if that doesn't appeal to you and you want something much cheaper or simpler, I would also recommend either Facercise or Ageless if You Dare over The Facial Workout for many/most people. But let me add the caveat that I suspect that probably some fraction of people would actually prefer The Facial Workout over Ageless if You Dare, especially if you don't want to do much or focus too much on one's cheeks and want a more balanced program, especially one that does not neglect the lower face.
