I'm looking for an intensive under eye moisture treatment.
I've read good things on the cellcosmet eye contour cream (although it's pricey!!!)
I also looked at the ampules by Janson Beckett but as far as I can tell they are mostly for eye lids and not under the eye.
Any suggestions? |

Lily the Eye Lid Ampules are an intense treatment for the whole area above the eye. However it can also be used under the eye. They are a light, herbal complex that offers advanced protection against upper-eyelid withering. Also helps to moisturize and firm the delicate eyelid area. Also now helps lighten darkness under eyes. For use day or night.
The Okusil combats lines and wrinkles with 10% Argireline, hydrates with Hyloronic Acid, firms with Collagen, Elastin, Soy and DMAE. Horse Chestnut and Vit. K for dark circles and Mallow,Ivy,Cucumber extract for puffiness.
Just noticed you said intensive moisture. While I find Okusil moisturizing, I don't know how intense you are looking for or how dry the area is. I think Ruth Marion uses the Ampules under it. Perhaps she will read this and respond. My skin is mature and I don't need another eye cream with Okusil. My friend uses the Rose Eye Wrinkle Oil and loves it. I have not tried that yet.

If you're looking for a really rich cream then Shiseido Benefiance is very good. Also, you can use rosehip oil around the eye area with no problems and this is quite nice. I would also really recommend using the Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream around the eye area. It's a beautiful rich cream and it can be used around the eye area even though it is meant for the face. That's the one I reach for when I have any dryness around the eye area.
Ps. Cellcosmet is my favorite but may not be enough if you are looking for a super moisturising cream. |

I have been using the eyelid ampules by Janson Beckett for 1 month now. Only one drop per eyelid (upper and lower) both day and evening. It really does reduce the upper eyelid creppiness but it is not moisturizing. |

hi Lily,
I just added some new eye treatments to my site but I haven't gotten to try them yet. One is a Rose eye wrinkle oil (essential oil) that I look forward to testing at night.
I think Bobbi Brown hydrating eyecream is very hydrating but no treatment properties.
ISClinical is good but pricey too!
Dr.Comenge is good for brightening but $$$. |

Winnie is right, Lily (pretty name ). Here is my newest eye regime (exactly the same as before because I, RuthMarion, have sworn to finish these particular products to prove that they do, indeed, do the job - DMAE is new & a little cream to finish is new.
After my face is cleansed, toned, prepped, I have now included the DMAE Firming Fluid (Janson-Beckett's) - I use it on my entire face including dabbing it under my eyes (1/4" below my lashes, maybe even closer), around the top of my orbital bone, & on the horizontal lines on the bridge of my nose. Then while that is drying I pat a drop of the JB Revitalizing Serum for Eyelids on each lid & gently pat it dry. Then Okusil on the whole orbital bone & right up to my lower lashes really carefully. In the past few weeks, I've cut down on my water comsumption (silly me - I know better) & my eyes have been looking a little tired. I think it's lack of moisture so about 30 minutes to an hour after I have done the above I pat on Tone up, Firm up Eye Cream from........Janson Beckett. (These Spa Items are so dangerous to get lost in - four pages of superb quality stuff - for everything!! Packaging is very nice but not over the top so prices are excellent). Anyway, I've liked the results & especially the feeling of it because it's working but it isn't too heavy - sort of a whipped consistency. My finger is poised above the order key for the Rose Oil but I really, really, really need to finish up my Valmont, YSL Temps Majeuer, 2 Lamas kinds, Creme de le Mer, Lancome Absolue - I think that's all not counting interesting samples. Oh & Rosa y Fruta rose oil for eyes (face too I think)(hey, that means I already have rose oil - but it isn't JB & I really should compare).
I like the layering even though it takes more time. My skin isn't dry so if I put too much cream based stuff on it, it breaks out & feels oily & I hate that feeling. With layering the eye cream on top of my other JB products I can just dab a scant amount on & get the results that I'm looking for. Good luck & I hope that this helps. All suggestions in this thread are good so you really can't go wrong! ![Cool](images/smiles/cool.gif) |

Good Lord, Ruth!! And I thought Mabsy was the ultimate product hound! Somehow you ladies don't make me feel so guilty for splurging on those Dermalogica and Sothys products this month!

P.S. I don't use an eye cream now (At 36, I have no wrinkles or lines on my face so far -- knock on wood!!), but that Rose Hip oil sounds kinda cool...but I've read under other posts that using too rich of a cream around your eyes can contribute/cause milia. Would that also go for the Rose Hip Oil? |

P.S. I think (hope) I'm over the maniacal spending now

Carrie,
The Janson-Beckett Rose Eye Oil is especially made for the eye area so it would not be heavy.
(Aromatherapy Blend) This exotic blend protects and moisturizes the under-eye area. Helps smooth and treat existing wrinkles. Imported from Israel. It is listing under essential oils in the Salon section. My girlfriend adores it.

I use a bit of rose oil when my eyes are getting really, really dry. I get the basic oil from gardenofwisdom.com. It will keep in the fridge for about three months. It works very well but I couldn't see myself using it everyday.Too heavy. |

I have used organic rosehip oil all over my face before (including the eye area) and have not had any problems. Keep in mind that it's supposed to be applied to damp skin not dry. It doesn't have anything to do with millia but I just though I'd mention that anyway ![Rolling Eyes](images/smiles/rolleyes.gif) |
