Hi,
A lot of ppl or my doc told me that hair loss after baby is hormonal and the hair should grow back later normally. My baby is turning 1.5 yrs old soon and my hair is still not growing as full as it was used to be. I started noticing a lot of hair loss when 4-5 month post baby. Now I dont shed as much but overall the hair do not grow back.
The condition of my hair remains pretty healthy (I have long and dark hair) cuz I have not been able to color them or do anything chemically when I was pregnant or breastfeeding.
The roots get greasy and sometimes itchy after the 2nd day so I shampoo every other day. I am using an organic normal-oily shampoo and phyto scalp treatment oil followed by neutrogena deep cleaning shampoo once a week. Is there anything I should try? TIA! |

You could try Skin Biology's Folligen for Blonds (I don't recommend the regular Folligen).
You apply it before bed to your scalp 2-3 times a week, and it definitely helps kickstart hair growth. I top mine with a little bit of emu oil which also has hair regeneration properties, plus it helps the Folligen for Blondes penetrate your scalp.
As a bonus, your nails will also grow like crazy because you massage it in with your fingers. |
