I know this has been done in the past, but was wondering if we could do an updated list. What are your "Holy Grail" skin care or makeup products that you are currently using? I'm new to the forums and have basically spent the last couple of months reading all the forums and have gotten such great information from everyone. I am spending a ton of money on all these products and having a blast trying everything. So far I have to say that I LOVE the following:
OCM - which I am currently doing about 2-3 times a week. Has greatly improved my pore size with fewer breakouts.
St. Helen's Mint Julep Mask - I've tried several different kinds and so far this one is the best for me.
DIY Vitamin C Serum (Kassy's latest version). Absolutely amazing on my skin.
ACV - using as a facial toner and in my shampoo.
Thanks everyone! |

Avocado Oil - loaded with vitamins, my skin just drinks it up!

Forgot to mention I also love Pure Unrefined African Shea Butter. I've been using on my dry skin patches (elbows, knees, heels) and it works wonders. My skin is now baby soft there. Is anyone else using this? If so, are you using it on your face? I'm a little hesitant to try it on my face.
I also ordered African black soap but haven't received it yet. |

I'll tell you though - I thought I'd be happy when I found my HG products but I'm not. I'm so bored with using the same products all the time. Plus, there's no excitement in it. I think I'm going back to trying new things just for the fun of it. |

I know what you mean. I don't think I'll ever be satisfied. I keep ordering new stuff every week. |

I know its nothing fancy, but my HG moisturizer is dermaveen moisturizing lotion. It saved my skin when I was on accutane.
BUT like a few people have said I am still looking for something else. I love to try more high end products because it makes me feel like im treating myself when I put them on my skin. But they just dont give me enough moisture. |

For nail products it has to be Mavala
It is the only nail hardener I use and the only one that works on my nails.
I also love their nail polishes as they have a very high gloss shine.
I actually get a lot of strangers asking me what brand of nail polish is that shiny and asking "who does your nails"
they never have the new mavala shades in Canada so that really sucks.
I have to buy them from the company's office in Europe.
and I did not realize the british pound was such a bad rate.
not Mavala's fault but my $45 british pound purchase turned into $90 Canadian
would have bought anyways though |
