What products do you like from Babor? Ages ago, I had a very nice moisturizer, in a pump bottle, but that's probably discontinued about five years ago
Is there anything you can recommend for dry skin? I am especially interested in the creams. |

Nemi,
I just started using Babor's Sensational Eyes Cream. I use it at night only because during the day I use a cream with SPF. So far I like it very much. Its lightly scented, nice texture and is absorbed quicky. I can get very dry around my eyes, especially during the winter. This one seems very good so far. Also a little goes a long way. |

I haven't really ventured into the world of Babor face creams yet but so far I have tried a few products that I really like. Like Nanapost, I really like the Sensational Eyes Cream. It's a light textured cream that sinks in fast and moisturises well. I also like the Babor two-step cleansing oil. Removes make up very well (including eye makeup, although I just wear pretty light makeup) and leaves skin nice and soft. It rinses off easily without leaving any oily film. |

And I'll have to 'third' the recommendation for the Babor Sensational eye cream! It's wonderful!
Sorry I can't respond about any of Babor's other products, but the eye cream is definitely a winner. |

The 2-step cleansing oils are really wonderful! So are the HSR eye cream. I have not yet tried the sensational eyes, but I think that it is not as rich as the HSR eye cream.
When it somes to moisturiser I've tried the hydra flavon cream. Nice and soothing, but if you have dry skin you might want something richer or use a serum in addition. I've also used the combination 24h cream, wich is meant for combo skin types. This is a "seal-in-moisture"-type of cream, and I don't really like these as they contain silicones which leave a film on my skin.
From the dry skin range I've only tried the balance concentrate. You'll find a review of that on the other forum!
And so far all the masks I've tried from the Babor range have been very nice! |

I forgot to mention that this is a "high-tech" brand, so it might be a good idea to make sure that it doesn't contain ingredients your skin might not tolerate. When that is said, none of the products I've tried so far have ever broken me out, or irritated my skin! |

I love it all! I too am very dry and if you want to splurge a little, the HSR Lifting cream for face and eyes is wonderful.
Another system to try would be the vita products with, again, sensational eye fluid and eye cream. The Hy-pads are nice and moisturizing too for an extra little pick me up once a week, when you travel, or have had a stressful day.
The cleanser I would go with is hy-ol with the phytobase.
I use Advance Biogen. I love a thicker cream and I wake up with such soft, supple skin in the morning. My skin tends to be a little stressed tho as well as dry, so it just adds some extra vitality. I also love the vita mask once a week for extra hydration.
Ultimate is another way you could go. Again pricier, but it smells like champagne, is hydrating, and pure heaven
Hope that helps! I just switched from using Lauder and emminence organics and I am really pleased. |
