I'm trying to do this cheek excersise where i have to smile and pinch the area below my temples to help make my face look more heart shape than slender.
Are there other facial excersises recommended to help a slender face fuller besides cheeks and temples?? |

Hi Tasha,
The muscles that most help make a face look wider are
* Temples (temporalis muscle)
* Upper diagonal cheek muscle (zygomaticus minor)
* Middle side cheek muscle (zygomaticus major)
* Lower side cheek muscle (risorius)
* Corner jaw muscle (masseter)
* Bottom of face, along jawline, from just beside the chin extending to the corner of the jaw (platsyma or neck muscle)
I'd recommend getting a complete facial exercise program, and doing it, as targeting a single muscle won't bring you the results you're after.
Popular facial exercise programs on EDS include:
* FlexEffect
* Facercise
* Ageless If You Dare
* Carolyn's Facial Fitness
I'd recommend reading through the threads on these programs to read the pros and cons that people feel are associated with these programs. It will help you make an informed decision
FWIW, I'd recommend FlexEffect most, but a good less expensive program is Ageless if You Dare, if you can actually get a copy. These two programs have the potential to build the most muscle as they are based on resistance exercises, whereas the others, to my knowledge are based on toning exercises or are a mixture of toning and resistance exercises.
