I would love to hear any opinions on pevonia products vs. dermalogica. I've just finished esthetics training and am still quite inexperienced, but may have an upcoming esthetician opportunity where I would be the only eshti. |

hey there
welcome to the forum .
When it comes to the brands you mentioned Im not 100% qualified to talk about pevonia, as ive only used one of their products: the ligne clarifyl problem skin cleanser. I really liked this but in true skincare whore fashion, switched the moment it was finished.
I do think im more qualified to talk about Dermalogica however. I have almost the whole line for my skin type and do my own facials with their professional products. I think, and know many others would agree, that this is a fabulous line. This is down to their ingredients, 90% of what goes in arent fillers or preservatives. They obviously do contain a proportion of these ingredients, but these are not the main component.
Im a big fan of active moist (the only moisturiser that never broke me out), medicated clearing gel (the first thing that cleared up my acne when everything else failed), and the anti-bac skin wash - I always end up going back to this. I also couldnt rave enough about their Skin Renewal Booster which is just great for acne.
I know everyone on the forum raves about Daily Microfoliant, its absolutely amazing but I ended up going through a bottle a month so had to knock that one on the head. My mum uses so many of their products and her skin has brightened and 'de-wrinkled' immensely. Shes a big fan of Multivitamin Power Firm for the eyes and lips, skin hydrating booster, extra firming booster, the hand cream and their ultracalming cleanser.
This really is a top line, and really cant imagine Pevonia's stuff exceeding it in terms of results. But please bear in mind Ive only ever used one of their products so have no evidence when making that statement. All I know is Dermalogica has given me great results and is a line also used by tons of celebrities - which is saying something considering their medium-priced products in the most unglamourous packaging imaginable.
So, thats my 2-cents. I hope I havent offended any Pevonia fans, Im just talking about my experiences with Dermalgica.
I hope that helps. If youve got a job opportunity coming up, and have to decide between the two, Id definetly point you in Dermalogica's direction. You might also find the following website helpful, which is where I learned properly how to do my facials and exactly what products to use:

Best wishes
Farouk. |

All my estheticans have raved about Dermalogica and the results they get. I guess the proof is in the pudding with the people who really use it. |

Likewise, I've only used a few Pevonia products and have had more experience with Dermalogica. This is not to say that Dermalogica is better (I think it would be hard to compare them this way anyway) but I have really liked the Dermalogica products that I have tried. I'm a big fan of the Microfoliant. Although, I'm not sure how Farouk managed to get through the whole container in a month! I've had mine for ages and use about half a little tea spoon (if that) when I use it ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |
