Hi All,
I saw a few posts on here talking about what they found at "T.J.Maxx! I never shop there, but I happen to be in a shopping center that had a T.J. Maxx and I went right over to the skin care and OMG, I was shocked at the wonderful products they had and their prices were unbelievable! I bought 5 different products and my total was $42.00! The only one I heard of was Elizabeth Arden for $9.99, which probably would be $50.00 if purchased at Macy's! They are all sealed and large sizes! The other one is "Astrale" Anti-aging Vitalizing", Ultimate Spa anti-wrinke face cleanser 8.5 oz "Coryse Salome Paris Anti-aging firming cream masque and "Coryse Salome Paris" firming throat cream!!!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I'm glad you scored, gloria. I was in a TJ Maxx over the weekend and saw a Shiseido brightening serum that was over $100. I didn't see anything else interesting and I didn't want to pay that much money. |

Wow Skippie, that seems like a lot of money for a brightening serum at T.J. Maxx. I would have left it on the shelf too! |

I've come across a lot of really great items at my local TJ Maxx as well! It's always fun to see what they have.
My latest purchase was a Pretika for $30. I've also purchased Sheseido sunscreen. One time they had an Evis LED (red) light for $99 that I wish I would've gotten. |

I scored with the Glycoderma 25% and 15% Revitalizing cream and the 10% eye creme. Could have gone on but stopped there. Happy Hunting Guys. |

Yeah Kim, I noticed that they sometimes only have one of an item, so if you hesitate, it most likely wil not be there the next day! |

So true! Whether it's cosmetics or clothing. |

I have never seen skincare at TJ's for anything near $100. Wowsa. Anyone know the 'regular' price?
I buy bath stuff there. Very little skin care - Although recently a cleanser which had a nice ingredient list and actually I did buy some undereye cream that looked good. And an Anastasia brow kit CHEAP. |

We never have anything that good in Canada.
The best I've done is La Roche posay miscelar cleansing water for $1 at the drugstore.
I only bought 2 (there was at least 10 on the shelf)..since I already have enough makeup remover.
Also a La Roche posay Toleriane sunscreen compact a few months ago at the drugstore for $1!
guess that shade was not popular..but matched me!
The drugstore chain near me- they always have a shelf of discounted perfumes..and good ones too.
Bought the largest size of Yves St Laurent In Love Again (was still around then) and paid $20 and it was sealed too.
After the holidays they also had Harajuku lovers sets for $20 with the perfume and compact cream.
-did not buy it as I have too much perfumes.
Here we have a chain called winners and all the soaps and cosmetics they sell are disgusting and usually opened by the customers. |

I see prices all over the place on the brightening serum. There are some on Amazon ranging from $75 to $165. It must have been the larger size which is more expensive. At any rate, the reviews I've seen are not very positive. |

Does anyone know why skincare products are so much cheaper at TJ Maxx? My concern is that they've expired or are close to expiration. |

Skippie, I wonder how they sell them so cheap too. I thought maybe they are discontiued items? I just bought an Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Sun Defense for the face SPF 50 for $9.99, and it retails for $30.00. Makes me wonder too! I really like it! Not greasy or white looking! |

I may be wrong here but I think they are part of a large conglomerate along with Costco, Marshall's, Ross and many others (son worked at Costco and I saw the list a few years ago) anyway they buy direct from the manufacturers what hasn't sold through regular distributors or wholesalers basically cutting out middlemen and their markups, passing on the savings to the consumer. Just goes to show how much retail is marked up! |
